I visited this place on multiple occasions, and while the coffee and overall atmosphere were impressive, my experience with the staff was a bit mixed.
Let's start with the coffee, which I must say was exceptional. Each cup was expertly brewed, delivering a delightful caffeine kick that left me wanting more.
Regarding the place itself, it provided a pleasant environment. The ambiance was cozy and enjoyable, contributing to a relaxing coffee-drinking experience. I would give it a 4/5 rating.
However, my encounter with the staff during my third visit left me slightly disappointed. I ordered a Cappuccino, but to my surprise, it was served with sugar, despite my request for it to be sugar-free. When I asked for a replacement, the staff seemed reluctant and dismissive, suggesting that the sugared Cappuccino was the norm. They offered to make a Flat White instead, which left me feeling like the responsibility to accommodate my preferences was placed on me. It would have been better if they had acknowledged the mistake and promptly made a new Cappuccino as requested. This aspect of my experience warrants a 3/5 rating for the staff.

Read moreI went to this cafe for brunch on Sunday, and honestly, the food was very disappointing. I can’t believe I paid $56 for what I got. First of all, the place was clearly understaffed. No one gave me a menu, so I had to use the QR code printed on the front door to view the menu. The presentation looked like something homemade, not what you'd expect from a cafe. The fritters were dry and bland, there was only one poached egg, and no smoked salmon. The “salad” was just a bit of spinach, a few chopped tomatoes, and spring onion, mixed with a white dressing. When I asked the waitress, she said the QR code was linked to an old menu that hadn’t been updated. I also ordered scrambled eggs with bacon and toast ($12) for my daughter. The toast was just plain supermarket white bread with no butter, and the scrambled eggs were dry. My daughter only ate some of the eggs, everything else was left untouched. Honestly, the food was not worth the money. Based on my experience, I won’t be...

The menu is a good sized menu with quite a bit of variety and appears to be a favourite amongst the locals!
