Breakfast with - eggs Benedict On a rosti bed was a sweet pulled pork topped with spinach , 2 eggs and a hollandaise sauce. Then to my surprise thinly sliced apple sticks. The apple complimented the lemon spritzed hollandaise and the sweet pulled pork. It sounds like it should be very sickly sweet, but it was perfectly balanced with the rosti and eggs. I'm not a fan of plates that are high sided like a bowl, that make it hard to cut and eat. Besides that, wonderful! 👍👍👍👍 Out of 5 thumbs.

Ventured to The Boulevard Food Store to give them some love as the stations are being revamped. Service was fantastic, food was high quality but overall atmosphere and value weren't great. They definitely have great coffee and maybe the atmosphere was hindered by all the train works. However if they tweaked a few of their price points or added a bit more food to the plates everything would go up a notch in my book. Overall ok experience ☺️

What a gem this place is , especially with the dog friendly outdoor seating . Recommend the steak and barramundi (and Creme brulee if you are feeling a little naughty) . Definitely recommend. Special shout out to Marnie who makes such an effort to provide the best hospitality

My family and I went here for late afternoon/early tapas. We ordered maybe 6 different share plates. My memory of what these were and what they were like is totally overshadowed by ‘the sardine shock’. We often cook fresh sardines at home and so, when we saw Sicilian style sardines on the menu, we thought that sounded interesting. However, we were totally amazed when our rather poorly presented hostess stomped up to our table, with 4 or 5 different coloured tins of sardines wedged in her arm pits and showed these to us, one by one, asking which we would like. We laughed amongst ourselves, having made our choice, and wondered what she would do to them to turn them into a $12.95 dish! When they arrived (still in their tin!), they were accompanied by the smallest and thinnest pieces of overtoasted baguette, that I have ever seen - and what,s more, they were more ‘hole’ than toast. We have not...

My daughter and I are new to the area and have been checking out our local cafes. We found this one a little strange. We came in, we weren’t greeted or offered a table, so we found our own. We couldn’t see or find a menu, but my daughter ascertained that we had to use a QR code to order. My daughter approached the counter to ask about the menu and the process of ordering. She stood there for a few minutes, watching a man dry glasses. He didn’t look up or acknowledge her at all. Another worker came close by to wipe a neighbouring table, but still no acknowledgement, no menu, no offer of coffee, nothing. We ended up leaving because it was as though we weren’t there anyway. Very odd. We felt like we were in The...

Through local recommendations I popped in during lockdown to see what prepared meals they had and bought the best lasagne I have ever tasted! So then when picnics were allowed I knew where to go and was not disappointed! I bought picnic packs for four adults and one child and they were amazing! Delicious and generous, fresh and tasty! The sandwich fillings were very flavourful and the chicken was moist and tasty. The soba noodle salad was a favourite and the brownies were Devine! A beautiful selection of cheeses as well with fresh bread was enjoyed by all. Have ordered another lasagne for dinner tonight and can’t wait! Coffee is great too! A local gem with lovely and very friendly staff!...
