I’d love to share an experience with a night “manager” I got to deal with tonight. He was a blonde haired boy with black roots (I can only assume he is a teenager because this person could not regulate their emotions in the moment) who was working on 9/4/25 at 9pm.
I am heavily pregnant, returning from a night shift, and attended the store to return an extremely poor quality meal that I received through drive through, see below pic. For context I ordered a McChicken meal with cheese. The “manager” completed the refund with minimal conversation or eye contact with me. When complete, I asked if he was going to provide an apology for the poor quality food, service and the inconvenience of driving back down in the middle the night. He then went on a wild tangent about it not being his fault and then proceeded to tell me I was no longer welcome in the store (like that was meant to ruin my life 😂) . I did not swear. I did not raise my voice. I did not yell. I did not abuse this person. I did laugh at the complete nonsense of the matter and simply left by stating I’ll make a formal complaint instead. How tough he must have felt kicking out a pregnant lady who literally just asked for a refund and apology for expecting you to do your job and provide a service I’ve paid for.
I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect a correct order and apology for poor quality product and service that I have paid for… but apparently it is. The meal cost me $30 with my hubby’s order. It’s wild how we work so hard for our money, purchase over priced takeaway food and then shock horror, it’s somehow our fault when the food isn’t up to standard. I didn’t think I was being unreasonable asking for an apology but I clearly triggered this individual, who maybe needs some help and perhaps another job.
I’ve put a formal complaint in, probs won’t hear back because based on the reviews here, no one takes accountability at this store. But a word of warning for all customers…. Do not expect any sort of service with people like this delightful night “manager” employed to represent the store and...
