My husband and I attended the drive through on Sunday. It was a quiet day. We ordered a flat white and an English breakfast tea. It’s our local macas so we pop through at least 4 tines a week. I’d say 60% of the time they forget to put milk in my tea. I’m ok with way that, I check before leaving and they fix it.
On this day the Manager (Leaha) barked at us to move to the waiting bay (there was no one around). I said I’d rather wait if it was ok, as I didn’t want to go back into the store from the car park if they’d missed adding the milk. She lost her temper with me. She told us we had ruined her day. I have no idea what provoked this attack and response. She brought the two drinks to the window and told us never to come back. I checked my drink and it didn’t have milk (the key reason I waited) when I asked her to please add some she became so angry and again said I’d ruined her day.
What kind of response is this? Her manager should be held accountable. There were kids working for her, that’s a terrible management style.
The tea was scalding hot (even after the milk was added (they added hot milk). The flat white was barely warm. What kind of service is this?
If they have KPI’s to get people through the drive through it’s not working as the customer service, quality and cleanliness have been bypassed.
It costs $10 for a take away medium coffee and a tea…the same price as a cafe.
If you are the Senior Management at this MacDonald, you really should protect your younger staff and customers from your middle management staff having petulant angry reactions.
I’ll add, every other time we’ve been through the staff are great. They just miss putting the milk...

Delicious McFlurry and Well-Made Chai I ordered an Oreo McFlurry with vanilla ice cream, and it was made just right— creamy, smooth, and full of Oreo goodness. The medium almond chai was also perfectly brewed, at the right temperature, and served in a timely manner along with the rest of our order.
Convenient and Reliable Drive-Thru We used the drive-thru, which was quick and efficient. Even though it was a hot day and we were feeling peckish, the service was fast, and our food came out fresh.

Read moreI have been attending this outlet at least 3 times a week for about the last 6 years. Yesterday I was confronted by a duty manager(short blonde hair) who told me I was banned from service at this outlet. Allegedly I have threatened one of the team members and no server on the team wants to deal with me. I know that this information is incorrect. I have asked from this person for details of these activities (allegedly). On 2 occasions I was told that I would not be allowed any -0- details concerning times . victims and any other details. I am a disability pensioner and I wish to thank McDonalds for providing affordability in Nutrition. Ray Kroc wanted to provide affordable , nutritious food and if prepared correctly it is that. Having dined at hundreds of McD outlets across 6 different countries - before I retired I worked for a supplier to McD. I have also achieved a BOC. If the licencee of this restaurant was serious then staff training is essential. In the meantime I shall spread the word of the treatment I have received. Kind Regards
PS There is a homeless person who has taken up residence on the seat just outside the customer entrance door. So it appears that it is allowed by the licencee to take up digs at this establishment however reject paying customers. Perhaps the people at Pennant Hills should change the name of this Fast Food System to McDonalds...
