After waiting for over 10 minutes for our order, assuming that there was a wait on something as it was not overly busy and the employee that took our order kept looking over at us, I approached the counter for assistance. The staff seemed surprised and went looking for the order on their screen. The staff member that I asked for assistance never returned to let me know what was happening. After a few minutes she came to me with the food pack and apologised saying that someone left it on their preparation bench and cleared our order before giving it to us. I question if they were the burgers that were sitting there for 10 minutes. The girl said yes and expected me to take food that had been sitting there to go cold and soggy?! YUCK! I asked he to get fresh as the food was now cold. The staff member seemed hesitant and it wasn't until another staff member (seemingly working drive through) told her o do it that she actually acted on my request. The manager then appeared and started firmly questioning the girl whom had served me what she was doing unpacking food. The girl explained and the manager looked to try and take charge of packing the food. Considering we now had waited almost 20 minutes for a simple order (of 3 meals) I would have thought that the manager would have given me my order and apologised as well but she ignored us and only glanced over her shoulder at us. The service we received was really disappointing - fast food should be fast. We selected McDonald's for a reason but today you did not deliver to our expectations and to what I am sure is your companies expectations. Read moreThe absolute worst McDonald’s you could ever hope to encounter!! The most slack service!! Have unfortunately gone here numerous times, and that’s due to proximity alone, and it’s immediate instant regret every single time. Mainly due to the number of times i have food poisoning from here as have other family and friends!! We have all now learnt that, even visiting one of the more decent stores such as Berwick, is well worth the effort/distance once encountering this monstrosity of a place!! Most of their employees know very little English and sorry but yes it does matter as they can’t understand even basic order taking and hold up people trying to get from just A to B, and the ones that do? They would prefer to enjoy social chit chat among themselves with a line of 20 cars waiting rather than fill orders let alone check they put in the right order!! They are for the most part extremely rude, do not follow proper hygiene practises and test for yourself if you must can never ever get an order correct..not once not ever!! Their amenities are highly unsanitary I wouldn’t even let my dog eat here let alone enter the store itself!! Why has this place not been closed the hell down already as it violates every fast food and customer service standard code there is out there!! I’d like to know whom is getting paid under the table to keep the health inspectors alone away from this hole of a store? Read moreCame in with a mobile order. Six workers were just standing and chatting and pretended not to see us. One extra star for the employee on drive through doing her job who was clearly annoyed her coworkers were just standing around not doing so.
I saw one of them turn, see us, and then quickly turn away as if they didn't. It was incredibly quiet with three customers in the whole building.
Eventually an employee came but she couldn't help as the order wouldn't show up so she says she'll get a manager. Understandable technology fails the app itself had an error too.
After that a girl came up to the register not in uniform and drinking a coke. She stood right in front of me, made eye contact with me but didn't say anything. I asked her if she could help but she didn't respond.
After that the manager did come up and seem to get people back to work. He got our order done quickly and it was correct. Except the coffee tasted burnt and there were a large amount of ground coffee at the bottom.
Three employees were chatting at the register while I waited. One was standing on the customer side getting her order put through by the lady who previously just starred at me. The other was chatting with the lady not in uniform eating.
