For a fast food restaurant, this place does well. It's clean, they have friendly and attentive service and a variety of items on the menu to cater for different eaters. Ordered the large chicken meal with potato cakes and was surprised at the freshness and crispiness of the cakes! not undercooked and piping hot! Free self serve tomato sauce bottle is also lovely to have at the table. Nice big serving plates were clean. Wet napkins also generously provided which is important when eating greasy food. Only complaint is the heat! inside is searing hot as the food is constantly cooking, obviously this can't be helped, but aircon or fans certainly could. And outdoor shading would also bring this place up to the five stars it deserves, for the service provided with integrity. Couple umbrellas wouldn't hurt! Great job guys! made our day with the food. I ordered Mcc pack and had to wait for 30mins even though it’s quite time because the guy who cooks chicken gave my food to other customer. I could understand sometimes people make mistake but after i asked owner how long should i wait for, and the owner recognised the cook had mistake. What i made me upset is the owner never say sorry about this happened. I’ve been here this shop several times when i visited south Melbourne beach (even corona seasons as well!) and every-time the owner was nice but this time i was so disappointed his reaction of this situation. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!! We have been looking for the best charcoal chicken North of... well... Antarctica and we finally found it! One of our chef mates recommended these guys and they didn't disappoint!
