This was our first time here. My partner spent some time living in Korea and is always craving good Korean BBQ. We came here based on a local search in Google maps and found this place which was a little further to drive but had rave reviews. Right from the start, the service was brilliant and super speedy. Our drinks (beer and soju) came out instantly. Although there was only two of us we ordered the platter for three (119 AUS), and also a kimchi pancake (I love those). The platter included four different types of meat which were extremely fresh, and the staff did the cooking directly at the table. They changed the BBQ hotplate after each type of meat and cut everything into bite-sized pieces. I can't fault anything, it was all so delicious, though the scotch fillet and chilli chicken were standouts. For two of us, we probably didn't need the pancake, but it was also delicious. Ample rice and the usual sides came with the platter. This is my new Korean place to come and we will be back soon. Highly recommend.

A really enjoyable kbbq joint and in the heart of Camberwell! The food is seasoned well! They also cook your food here so you don’t need to (I’m a lover of cooking at kbbq because you get to cook the meat at your own pace and also get to eat it at the way you like to!) The servers aren’t super friendly but they were nice enough. The place is not cramped, but not spacious either. All in all a decent kbbq! Wouldn’t travel to here but if I’m around the area, I might stop by. It’s at a higher price point in comparison to other kbbqs but the quality of meat is of high calibre. Love the salad that it comes with and the kimchi stew was quite delicious. Corn cheese was nice, definitely needed a bit more cheese. The refillable sides are nice but there’s one that misses the mark. It’s the crunchy one with a mayonnaise type of sauce. My apologies but it may need to go and be changed with something not so “plastic” tasting. I believe it is not plastic at all, just so unsure of what type of texture it is.

We dropped in here unannounced on a Friday night. Place was busy and waitress told us to come back later. But a table vacated and we were in. The first thing you notice is a smoke haze in this place as everyone is busy bbq’ing their choice of meat and vegetables. We chose the Angus Scotch Fillet, Prawns and signature Chicken dish. Sides of vegetables, various sauces and kimchi came out too. We had out 9 year son with us and we’re worried the flavours might have been a bit too much for him. We needn’t have worried as he tucked in. The food was great. The prawns massive and the chicken the hero of the night. One mark off for strangely distant service. It was clear we were not sure what to order and there was no help or suggestions from the wait staff. A bit robotic to be honest. Lots of Koreans in the restaurant I think endorsing the authenticity of the offerings. Well worth a visit - albeit you will smell of bbq smoke when you leave.

The 5 star reviews are well-deserved. We have visited on a number of occasions now and service is consistently friendly, welcoming and the food fresh and very tasty, whether you opt for the BBQ options or other dishes on offer. The salad, a sad afterthought at most Asian restaurants, is well-dressed here with a good mix of fresh leaves and grated and sliced vegetables; the banchan is homemade and not the usual overly-salted and packet stuff found at many Korean restaurants in Melbourne, the cheesy corn is exemplary, the fried chicken never greasy. The husband and wife team work hard and care deeply about their customers, presenting a well-cleaned and cheerful environment whether you're a bunch of uni students after meat and beer, a young family after a healthy quick feed or a couple wanting a delicious (but maybe noisy!) night out. Young families can feel reassured that they and their children will be welcomed into clean high chairs, offered kids' utensils and a variety of healthy options. All the servers we've had are Korean, friendly and helpful. If you don't want to cook for yourself they will happily grill and cut for you. The BBQ is over charcoal producing that lovely flavour and texture, their grills and plates are always clean and the produce high quality. To drink there are Australian wines, beers and plenty of Korean soft drinks and alcohol options on offer too, all delicious and fairly priced and it's a great way to explore something different.

One of the best new additions to the Burwood village/Hartwell area we've seen for many years - highly recommended. Best to book as they're relatively small and we've seen them seat tables multiple...

Just left the restaurant utterly disappointed. Customer service was non-existent. Made a booking for 2 adults and a baby over the phone. Specifically mentioning baby 2 times and restaurant agreed. When we arrived we were offered a table with no high chair. Upon asking them if we could have a high chair placed at the table or if we could have a table with a high chair already placed there, neither option was entertained by the waitress who stared at us without offering us any other option but to leave. No apology whatsoever. We have been the restaurant previously and enjoyed the food however this encounter has left a seriously sour taste in our mouths and will not be returning. We have never been this upset with a restaurant's service like this before, we go out of our way to make and booking and come to the restaurant only to be turned away with no disregard for our patronage. PLEASE make and effort with your customers and try your best to accomodate or at least acknowledge the fault and apologize for the inconvenience. Seriously...
