We have been the most loyal customers of this business for so many years. Sushi platters were initially $58 we were more than happy to pay for this as although a little step for the amount of sushi you get (which doesn't even really leave 2 people full), we thought we'd pay on special occasions as the sushi is fantastic. Today we called with our usual order, we werent told of any price increase. We get there to pick up our platter they charge us $68 for the smallest sushi platter ever. I complained and told the manager we have been loyal customers and that I can't fathom this drastic Increase. I told him we would not be coming back as Oki2go in St Kilda have make your own sushi platters for $45. I told him no customers will pay the amount hes asking for. I politely paid for the platter and left the store never to return. These people are money hungry and have no regard for customers. Please...

Do yourself a favour and avoid this place. Go up to Tokyo deli where the food is authentic and made by real Japanese people. Had lunch here today, well stopped, after eating the tempura in a bento box. Fish and chip batter is better, NOT tempura at all. Tried to explain this to them and they were beyond rude. The gyoza was akin to a chinese dumpling not gyoza at all, tried to highlight this too. The whole place is cheap and no true attempt is made to create an enjoyable experience. One lady clearly had a sinus issue and I saw her walking around delivering plates and using a tissue NO attempt to wash her hands even during our covid trials.

Honestly avoid this place there’s plenty of good food in the area. They can’t even repair their signage out front, that says...

Photos at the door caught my eyes so went inside and waiting to be surprised by the Signature dish Tuna Tataki. It was a warm day and the restaurant was so muggy because AC wasn’t switched on. There were 4 staff all together but no one took order until 10mins later. All the fried food (Prawn tempura and pork Katsu) were so overcooked, the pork katsu was chewy like cardboard while the curry wasn’t really up to standard. The tuna tataki was so disappointing, some pieces were so chewy with tendon, most were poorly sliced with extremely uneven sizes. To me this is more of a takeaway shop for a quick lunch with low expectation rather than a place for dine-in or dinner (it...

We had such a great time here. The vibe was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We ordered the tuna tataki, una don and sashimi don, everything was amazing. The tuna tataki was super fresh. The una don was rich and flavorful, and the sashimi don had a great variety of fresh fish, beautifully presented. You can really tell they care about the quality of their food. Everything tasted clean, fresh, and well-balanced. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.

Ordered some sushi through Ubereats. The order took 40 minutes to make and when I received it, the sushi was not freshly made. The rice was dry and stiff, as if made the day before and kept in the fridge. Not to mention the sushi roll was meant to have avocado… but you needed a magnifying glass to find it. Very dissapointed. I always enjoy sushi no matter what, but this was by far the worst sushi I’ve ever had.
