FOOD: I ordered the My Oh My Hotcakes after lusting for it for the LONGEST time and I’d have to say, it definitely lived up to its standard. When I saw that it was $20 I was abit shocked but I can definitely see why the price tag is slapped on there because it was definitely very delicious but the portion was CRAZY! It is definitely sharable as for even someone with a big appetite like me, I was barely half done when I was stuffed HAHAHA but if you love pistachios like I do, you’ll definitely fall head over heels for this dish as not only is it sprinkled with pistachios but the pistachio ice cream on there is... crazy (in the best way)! I used to think the best pistachio I ever had was in Cambridge, UK but My Oh My has dethroned them exponentially. I also didn’t think the blackberry compote and fruity flavours would go with pistachio flavours but I was wrong!! The fruity flavours balanced out the savoury-ish flavour of the pistachio and the hotcakes were MAGNIFICENT!! They were chewy (just the way I like it) and stayed together really well and didn’t crumble. I also loved how they gave the syrup on the side so you can pour it to your desired amount. I didn’t get to taste any lemon tho but I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be a prominent flavour HAHAHA but overall, it’s a really really impressive hotcake dish and I’d say one of the better ones I’ve tried!

My Oh My is one of Richmond’s best coffee spots — a place that consistently gets everything right. The coffee is exceptional: smooth, rich, and full of flavour, always brewed to perfection whether you’re after a strong flat white, a pour-over, or just a quick takeaway. It’s the kind of cup that instantly lifts your day.

The food is just as impressive. The menu is creative without being overcomplicated, with fresh, generous dishes that work equally well for a quick breakfast, a leisurely brunch, or a light lunch. Everything tastes vibrant and thoughtfully put together, with plenty of options for different tastes and diets.

The space itself has a bright, relaxed feel with a stylish fit-out that makes it just as inviting to sit in with friends as it is to grab something on the go. There’s always a buzz, but it never feels overwhelming — just the right balance of energy and ease.

The staff deserve a special mention. They’re warm, efficient, and clearly passionate about what they do. Even when it’s busy, service is quick and attentive, and you always feel welcomed back.

What I love most about My Oh My is the consistency. Every visit delivers the same excellent coffee, the same great food, and the same friendly vibe. It’s the kind of café that easily becomes part of your weekly routine.

This cafe!!! I’m a local Poet, Actor and I also run my own wine business worldwide so I travel a lot, and I’d have to say My Oh My is honestly one of the best breakfast I’ve ever experienced anywhere in the world! It’s April 2024 now and I’ve been coming here (yes I’m writing this review as I’m scoffing down my usual 3 plates of breaky and a smoothie which doesn’t go to my waistline due to the menu being healthy!) since early 2020 and ya’ll remember that was a heavy period for all of us being Covid and these guys at My Oh My were my saviours during that time! Every single staff member who has served me the last 4+ years have treated me like royalty here, their exuberance, energy, passion, smiles and warm, welcoming nature is addictive just like their menu! Oh and the coffee too is on point! If only the cafes in Europe could learn to make coffee like these guys! The service and food is also super quick and with the ying and yang of speed and high quality on all levels, you’re going to become as addictive to this place as I am and call this place your second home!
