This is a really nice park, and generally very peaceful. It’s a popular park for picnics on the weekends. There’s a large dog area with tons of grass and a few other dogs. It is a great place to sit and relax and what the cute puppy dogs run around.

On the other side there is a play area for kids that looks pretty fun, not gonna lie. And there’s also public toilets that are kept pretty clean - but it’s still a public toilet so be cautious and bring some hand sanitizer with you if you are going to have a picnic.

And on the very end there is a huge flat area where you can play sports! Perfect for...

Dog poo everywhere, long queues for toilets every weekend (two toilets in total for the number of people in the images below), broken glass in kids sandpit and in grass, rubbish overflowing from bins regularly.

Little effort with landscaping or creating atmosphere, trees badly looked after, dying & requiring replacement regularly. The playground has no cohesion or flow, it appears as though a council member has simply ticked some boxes in a catalogue rather than giving the area any professional thought. The single drink fountain in the park doesn't...

Went to the park the other day with my 5 month old puppy ,plenty of easy parking. It has a nice BBQ area with tables and benches adjoining the children's playground and toilet facilities all close by.after using the BBQ that was well kept and clean,we walked through the park which is very well kept with lots of beautiful established trees,we joined the group of dog owners and dogs in the off lead area of the park. All in all a fantastic day out for everyone. Would certainly recommend this park.On the day lots of family's ...

Apart from the fact that it's a dog park and the name of the park is BARK-ly gardens (kudos to the person who came up with the name), it's an amazing little park to stretch your legs and take in some nature. Well-kept, many good doggos around, playground towards the other end of the park, and plenty of pigeons about doing pigeon stuff (you can get pretty close to them, they know no fear). Dog owners are generally good at picking up after their companions but you do see the occasional rogue present lying around (bagged or unbagged).

Beautiful park situated in Richmond just behind Swan St… Perfect for spending time in nature, walking the dog, playing with the kids, sitting, exercising, enjoying the trees & scenery, it’s just beautiful. Also has plenty of parking around it, just a short walk to the Main Street & quiet enough to enjoy its serenity!
