I went to Nando’s Eastland on 25 June 2023 at 2.40pm and served by staff name Ricky. Firstly at the time of order he was very rude and I told him mate you are too rude please be polite and he said you are shouting on me and I reply that I am not, it’s my sore throat that I am having trouble in speaking. Then I am start waiting for my order. After 20 min I ask them still I didn’t receive the order and other staff said wait on the table and your order is prepared and is going to be serve. But staff serve my order to another table and I ask them that this is my order and they said wrongly staff member served to another table and we will another order for you just wait for 3 to 5 minutes. I receive my order but patty inside the pita is too cold and I went to counter again that patty is too cold and they said we will reheat it. They remove the patty from pita and put it on hot plate and I requested again that it’s already more than 5 min and you are reheating the same patty and chips are getting cold. What should I have to do and staff member Ricky again come and start rudely talking again just tie your chips and start eating it’s fresh we are not replacing it. I said mate I didn’t receive the pita how I can eat only chips but he was so rude behaviour. Then I went to table sit there and wait for my meal to come. When it comes the patty was totally broken and I ask them again mate this is not in good manner, I can’t eat the food like this. And Ricky replied I am not going to refund you have your meal on table and I said I am not going to eat the meal in this manner please give me a copy of receipt and he threat me eat it or I go otherwise I am calling security. I said I just want copy of receipt and I don’t want any refund or this meal. Then after 5 min he give the copy and I came back.
This type of behaviour is not tolerable and I need proper investigation on this. I feel so embraced in front of everyone that staff member is talking so rudely. It feels like discriminated and racist from staff member Ricky. For the records I have copy of receipt and order was scan to my Nandos membership as well. Read moreI had an absolutely horrible experience at Nando’s Eastland (Ringwood) on 8th January 2025, and I’m beyond disgusted with how things turned out.
I ordered a chicken salad, and halfway through eating it, I started to feel off — like something wasn’t right. By the time I finished the meal, my stomach was in absolute agony. Within the next hour, I was violently throwing up multiple times, and my stomach felt like it was on fire. It was honestly one of the worst pains I’ve ever felt.
To make things worse, my mate who ate with me felt sick too not long after. So it clearly wasn’t just me. This wasn’t a coincidence — this was 100% caused by the food we ate there.
I started heating up and the situation got so bad that I had to be rushed to the hospital to get checked out. It’s now been days, and I’m still not fully recovered. I’ve lost time, money, and my health because of this. Food poisoning is no joke, and the fact that it happened from something as basic as a chicken salad is ridiculous.
I’m absolutely furious that a well-known chain like Nando’s could let this happen. It’s clear there’s a serious problem with food handling at this location, and it needs to be fixed immediately. How many more people have to get sick before something is done?

Read moreOn the 9th of July I went to this restaurant thinking it would be a quick sit down meal as the establishment was very quiet i was with a party of 3 I asked for a table for 3 the waiter with a clearly annoyed look on his face said " just sit anywere" and we sat outside in a booth we then ordered on a QR code we had ordered 3 servings of tenders and chips 2 with peri peri and one with no sauce the food had taken 20-25 minutes as our family has a 2 year old and ordered an apple juice it came in quite a large bottle so I asked the waiter if we could have a straw and he said and I quote "sorry we don't own any straws" so I then asked for a cup and he said " we also do not have cups" never in my entire existence have I ever been to a restaurant that does not have cups When a waiter gave us our food he might aswell slamed it on our table making the chips roll of our plates he did not give us any cutlery and when we asked he said that "cutlery and napkins were inside and so is sauce" I don't know about you but when I go to a restaurant or Cafe they will give you cutlery depending on what you order but the tenders were not a finger food as they were quite large and needed to be eaten with cutlery.
