I have honestly never experienced such bad service in my entire life, I don’t usually leave negative reviews but this deserves one. Me and my friends came past and were served by a young man in his teens, he repeated our order back to us and it was correct when it arrived we were missing halloumi chips, Fries were cold and a burger was given instead of a wrap. We ordered a salad with no onion or tomato and there was both onion and tomato in it, when we advised the staff we watched them pick the tomato and onion out, mix the salad leafs around to look like a new salad and brought it back out to us. The teen that served us was on his phone the whole time during this texting/doing whatever he was doing. We came back the week after and placed an order and were told it would be max 30 minutes which is fine, we waited and we got our orders an hour and 10 minutes after paying at the register. One of our orders was a wrap but brought out as a pita. In our other order there was tomato when we asked for no tomato, and one of our feta and avocado pitas had no feta throughout. And our tenders were brought out an hour and a half after the initial wraps. This is absolutely shocking service. I understand if you are running behind and it is super busy but don’t tell us it will be 30 minutes and bring out our meal an hour and a half later.. we had appointments to be at which we were late as we were advised our food is coming right now every 10 minutes to keep us waiting and not as for a refund. And on top of that getting all our orders wrong multiple times. I think nandos should take a look at their staff and provide proper training as they’re more interested in their phones than they are...
Read moreI usually don’t like to leave bad reviews for places but this place was well below standard in terms of hygiene and service specifically yesterday. I just want to say I have been here before and it has been quick service and good food, but yesterday I visited shortly after 1pm for lunch (the shop was not overly busy might I add) and the place was a mess there was plates with half eaten food from customers still on tables (meaning we had limited choices of where we could sit). And when the tables were finally cleared the staff did not wipe or clean the crumbs off the tables meaning customers just came and sat afterwards, even the table I sat on was both sticky and still had food particles on it. The floor was also quite sticky beneath my shoes. Aside from the lack of hygiene and cleaning, we ordered online via the QR code and our food took at least 45 minutes, the staff in the back were chatting loudly and did not acknowledge customers waiting to be served for a while. When we did receive our food it was average tasting not bad but cold as it had been sitting there waiting before someone actually served it to us, and our bottled drink was warm. Read moreMy recent visit to Nando’s was, unfortunately, a letdown. I had high expectations given their reputation, but the experience didn’t live up to the hype. To start, the service was slow, and despite it not being too busy, we waited quite a while to place our order. When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm at best.
The peri-peri chicken, which is supposed to be their signature dish, was disappointingly dry and lacked the bold flavor I had anticipated. The sauce, which I’ve heard is meant to add a spicy kick, barely made an impact—it tasted watered down. The sides didn’t fare much better. The peri-peri fries were soggy, and the garlic bread was tough and chewy, far from fresh.
The overall ambiance also felt a bit off—tables were left uncleared, and the general vibe was more chaotic than relaxed. For the price, I expected far better food and service. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations, and I’m not sure I’ll be returning...
