Today I found a piece of plastic in the chicken which is appalling. It's a shame because the food is usually quite tasty.
When I brought it back they removed the affected piece and provided a small piece of chicken for free which is appreciated but there shouldn't have been plastic in the food to begin with. The worker said the kitchen didn't know where the plastic came from because the kitchen weren't wearing gloves of the same colour, the fact they didn't know where the plastic came from is concerning.
On a separate occasion a few months back I received the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I waited in a short line to order but when I got to the front the worker simply disappeared into the back without acknowledging me at all and did not come out, I had to order from the kiosk instead. Then when I returned for my food 15 minutes later as per the receipt instructions, I waited for my order to be called for an additional 5 minutes before asking the worker about my food. After looking over my receipt they said that someone else had taken my food. They said that they had chicken ready for me but it would be a 10 minute wait for chips and offered extra chicken in its place. Even though I said I was fine with waiting for chips they seemed annoyed with me and kept saying I could have extra chicken instead so I agreed. Not impressed at all.
I'm at Knox very often, and every time I walk past and see this employee they always have an unpleasant expression on their face.
Like I said, it's a shame because their food is good but they seriously need to improve their customer service...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAround lunchtime on 20 April 2024 I ordered a meal via their kiosk machine and $ 33.71 was deducted from my card but the manager Sam said the order didn't go through. I showed him the bank transaction but he insisted the order didn't go through and the kiosko machine does not belong to their company and he cannot check their system and he promised that the money would be refunded back to my card. If it was not refunded, I can go back to check with him. There was a long queue so I ordered the same meal and paid $ 31.19, meaning the Kiosk overcharged $1.98 for what (weekend surcharge or whatever fee??)
Now I have to go back to them to chase my money back....it is quite a headache. Please do not use their kiosko. The manager said the kiosko does not belong to the Nene Chicken but both transactions indicate "Knox Wantirna soutau". Very doggy explanation...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited this restaurant on a public holiday and was disappointed to find out that there was a 15% surcharge in addition to a card surcharge, which I was not aware of when I made my payment. Furthermore, I was informed after paying that there would be a 20-minute wait time for my order. If I knew it, I wouldn't have it.
Although I enjoy the food at this restaurant, I was not happy with the additional charges and the wait time. It would have been helpful if the restaurant had communicated these charges and wait times upfront so that I could have changed my mind.
If you plan to visit this restaurant on a public holiday, it's advisable to check beforehand to see if there are any additional charges...
