Nigel — Restaurant in Melbourne

I've been to all the Nigel cafes, they are all really good and I like the staff. Armadale has the hustle, Tooronga is great for grabbing a coffee whilst shopping, Camberwell is good for a browse, and Glenferrie is my favourite to just relax at,

The Armadale store has a great selection of bakes and cakes, the coffees are made well, and the toasties hit the spot. Everything is made in-house except for the croissants, so it's always really fresh. Don't sleep on the protein balls either. The newest addition is the kim chi toastie.

Retail selection is really good, so there's beans for at home or for your weekend away in the mountains. We can't always get coffee out there can we? The team roast delicious coffee.

Overall, I'd say Nigel is underrated, and I'd recommend a visit if you like your coffee. I had the single origin milky, it's sweet, caramelly and goes great with the Riverina Gold. Other milks...

The service is so bad both the service and prices! It 10am on Sunday, the guys who was serving us clearly so unhappy to be here do the job. He was so cold and condescending when we asked about our order to understand. As a cafe business's, you meant to create a warm and safe experience to connect to your ongoing customers, sadly you can find it here.

Coffee was good but one of the staff was incredibly rude to one of our group. He went to give a coffee order and was told quite bluntly and rudely to “hold your horses mate”.

We brought a big group, about 10 from our fitness class but we won’t be returning.
