I Went with my family and the service was chaotic , First the waitress asked if we were ready to be served ,we just sat down. Then another guy I assume was the Maitrede (or whatever you call him) Read the specials and then my Mum asked to order, I had to explain not him that he does not take orders. My brothers' Kangaroo was cold and when it was returned the forgot the fork. My twice cooked Pork Belly was also cold and the skin on the top was floppy not crisp. The waiter had to ask me if it was cold (this should be checked before it leave the kitchen. The toilets are outside and there is one only and it u don't know the place you would never know. While our waitress was friendly when she served us she was dismissive after that. No apologies about the cold food and did not offer to give something extra for the inconvenience. The only toilet had no toilet paper when I went and no soap. I had to tell them. I would not go back. Not very mindful about service and customers could just die they would never know I will not go back while the food overall was good the service was disorganized, some food was cold and under OH&S they should check their own toilets. $187 for A soup, entree 3 main meals 2 wines and espresso martini a coffee and two desserts. Expensive over rated and not mindful about they're customers' at all
So the owner has replied about the toilets however did not read about the cold food or the lack of customer service. Typical does not worry about the poor service just the toilets. Read moreI have been to Giorgios 3 times. The first time about a year ago i went with my partner and she had a burger and i had a Greek Salad. I had requested a greek salad with no raw onion. My bad for not mentioning that i have an allergy. The salad came and there was no visible onion, when i almost finished the salad i realised there was a little piece of onion which sugests that the salad was pre cut and the onion removed. After one hour i ended up in the hospital. The second time was on the 13th of January this year, where we messed up our booking for my birthday at our favourite local place. We decided to go there again without having high expectations. Me and my wife shared two mains and suprisignly they were amazing. However the Tiramisu we ordered for desert was terible. It would have been sitting at display for at least a week. On Friday the 31st of Jan, we went back to Giorgios to order the exact same meal we had last time. Horiffic... The same plate came with instant microwaved rice that was not basmati as per menue, it was dry and we couldn't eat it. Read moreI had a disappointing experience with the function booking at this restaurant. I was initially told that the cost would be $49 per person, without any mention of a minimum spend. Prior to the dinner, I visited the restaurant several times and spoke with the manager to clarify details. I specifically asked about the minimum number of people required for the function room, and the manager confirmed that it was 2, as long as I provided the final guest count beforehand.
I sent a confirmation email with the number of attendees, and at no point was I informed about any minimum spend. However, after the dinner, I was unexpectedly told I had to pay an additional $500 to cover a minimum spend I wasn’t informed about. To avoid a confrontation, I paid, but the manager refused to discuss the issue, insisting that he had notified me, which I find untrue. He mentioned this was standard procedure, but I never received such a notice.
This situation left me extremely disappointed, especially given that I had chosen this place for a special occasion. I’ve been a regular customer and live locally, but after this experience, I won’t be returning or recommending the restaurant.
