Noodle Jone — Restaurant in Melbourne

We hadn’t gone here for years due to some unpleasant noodles (few veggies , broken oily noodles) .We went back last week and had some nice vegetable Singapore noodles , hardly any veggies but a nice flavour and noodle consistency. We decided to go back this weekend and had vegetable curry laksa , sadly it was like water . Real skimping on the laksa paste and coconut milk , a disappointing watery soup . It might be a one off but I think it’s just a pattern of trying to cut down on costs to the detriment of flavour, value and repeat customers. All of the meals we had here were take away , perhaps eat in customers get better quality meals because they can easily get up from their chair walk to the counter and complain face to face . Food tasted okay until we got to the beef; was bad. Went up to the owner discreetly to inform them that it didn't taste right and was shut down saying "I only bought it today, impossible". He then began to ignore me and served the same beef to another customer. The lady serving seemed dumb founded as she just apologised and went on with her business.

Partner then received stomach pains and was sick all night.

You'd think it's in the best interest of the business to investigate an issue a customer reported with the meat, as I wasn't even after a refund but just to make sure no one else bought it.

I rated the atmosphere low because it feels more like a dying shop than anything else but I think thats more to do with Frankston alone if you look around Frankston city now everything outside of the mall feels like it's dying alot of shops have closed the Sunday markets have stopped and hasnt reopened yet now apart from the atmosphere and the services is normal the food is amazing although I only normally have few dishes wonton noodle soup ho-fun or dumplings which everytime I eat these dishes I feel like I eat them with my soul rather than my stomach so if you're in the area noodle Jones is one of my...
