We purchased four coffees this morning, and asked for extra-hot as well as regular. When we received the coffee, NONE of the four coffees were drinkable. The coffee tasted burnt - and was not hot. When we returned the coffee to the establishment, the response from the owner was VERY rude and aggressive. He agreed to remake the coffee, and blamed the request for "extra hot" as the reason for the burnt flavour, so refused to make the coffee extra hot again. When the coffee was received, it was actually warmer than the original order, but the flavour was equally bad. We returned the coffee to the cafe, and as we walked into the shop front, the owner yelled "I knew it! I knew it!" He slammed our refund into the palm of our coffee runner. Hubby decided to get some takeaway lunch from here today. I just had a vegan soup for lunch just now and thought I had to just say how delicious it was! I was a bit sceptical because he said it was vegan (since I am far from vegan), but it was the most delicious and clean takeaway soup I have ever tasted, consumed it in less than a few mins. Their salads and other foods have always been great but this place continues to surprise me with its focus on nutritionally packed meals and great flavours. Just because it is healthy doesn't mean it has to taste like cardboard! It is pouring with rain outside and I'm working from home but this day just got brighter with this uplifting soup! Had a lovely hot chocolate while waiting for my partner to finish an appointment, food looked good too. However, less than 2 minutes after finishing my drink as I was reading my book, I was asked to move from my table of 2 to make way for a couple coming in and told to sit outside in the 12 degrees and rain instead, despite the fact I intended to order more. I get making way for new customers but I had been in the Cafe less than 15 mins total.

EDIT: I appreciate your response, but by your own admission, if there were bench seats available, then the new customers could have sat there instead of making me move just because I was by myself. It was rude and I will not...
