The entire menu is extremely overpriced! I have never paid more for take away fish and chips in my entire life (including those fancy ones at the pier!) Food quality is average and tastes like they use the same supplier as every other fish and chip shop, so why the massive cost? It also looks like every other fish and chip shop so the expenses aren't going to cosmetics.... Staff were friendly enough but they burned the burger bun :( Don't want to go back and can't afford to go...

2020 - now: what a change new owners make. I forgot about my bad review so I'm sorry Cathy. Things turned around immediately and while I don't go as much as I used to, the food, service and everything is top-notch :) Thanks

2018 - Used to be good but new owners are ruining it - they know NOTHING about fish and chips and are here only for the visa. I'll leave it to you to guess their original nationality. And charge you for use eftpos. Tax scam? Won't...

We always purchase our fish and chips here, having tried many other fish and chip shops in the area over the years. The fish (battered) and chips are consistently very good. The dimmies are good too. We aren't fond of potato cakes so don't purchase them. We order by phone and they are normally ready within 15-20 minutes (tonight was only...
