One for the Crow is a hidden gem! We are not ones to pass through Maidstone typically, but my oh my the journey was worth it!

My wife and I have recently taken to becoming vegetarians. In our search for new and exciting flavours, my wonderful barber at Sister Margaret’s recommended that I pay a visit.

I ordered the special “Phish” burger - I am still puzzled as to how they manage to make the patty feel, look and taste so authentic! So full of flavour and the burger holds its structure, which is imperative for a true burger experience; no one likes a sloppy mess. I am hopeful it becomes a permanent addition to their menu, nevertheless I am confident they will surprise us with another delicious invention.

My wife ordered the breakfast quesadilla with a side of jalapeños. She complimented the chemistry of the elements in the dish - everything sat together perfectly and the tofu soaked up all the surrounding flavours.

Bottom line. Get down to One for the Crow. You’re in for an inviting and cosy experience from the staff and lots to look forward to for return visits.

Ps. We are about to the Sticky Date Pudding...

Cute little vegan cafe with amazing quality food and coffee. They give generous servings and are super friendly, and welcoming! The tofu chilli scramble is the winner for me. Every time I go back I always order the same dish because it's just too delicious to miss out on. I have also had the Korean chicken burger and that's a close second for me. I've been to many vegan establishments around the world in my travels and I would say that One for the Crow hands down has to be the my favourite. I think if One for the Crow was located in somewhere with a bigger vegan demographic such as Fitzroy, Brunswick, I don't think I'd be able to ever get a seat from how busy it'd be. I'm lucky that although they are still busy in the burbs, I still get a seat every time I go. Everything about it is great and I will continue to come and support another ethical...

After hearing many great reviews, my partner and I decided to celebrate my birthday here yesterday, and it truly is a hidden gem! The menu offered a perfect variety, and the milkshakes were hands down the best I've ever had! I was amazed to find they offered vegan eggs—something I’ve never come across before! They absolutely nailed the texture, and it tasted just like I remembered. Not only was the food exceptional, but the customer service was on another level. I can’t recall the owner’s name, but my partner and I had the best conversation with him—he’s such a genuinely kind person, and you can tell this cafe is his pride and joy. Support small businesses when you can! I promise, whether you're vegan or not, this place will not...

Stumbled upon this place while looking for brunch places and not realising it was a plant based cafe ! 🌭🌱 SAUSAGE ROLL 🌱🌭 This was a delectable sausage roll, if you gave me this telling me that it had no meat I probably wouldn’t be able to tell the difference ! The pastry was very nice and crispy. 🐑🌱 LAMB OPEN BOWL 🌱🐑 Very pleasantly surprised that this really did remind me of lamb, the flavour/seasoning utilised for the lamb definitely reminded me of lamb. Overall would come back here or recommend this cafe to a friend if they were vegetarian/vegan as this place offers 100% plant based food. The staff were very friendly ( ´ ▽ ` )
