The Naughty Greek is a casual restaurant located on Hampstead Road in Maidstone. They offer a huge range for both dine in and takeaway, including souvaki, gyros, burgers, seafood and even loukoumades. 🇬🇷 Being local we popped in for lunch, craving a gyros plate and boy did it deliver. Glad we decided to share between the two of us, as the servings here are very generous. We did order extra meat but we didnt even get through it all! 🤣 The Lamb was incrediblly tasty and crispy. The Chips were your classic fish and chip style, seasoned with chicken salt. The Tzatziki was flaweless, paired with a great pita bread. The only thing I didn’t love was the salad which was very soft, probably pre-dressed and sitting a while. For a Monday afternoon we were surprised to see it so busy, but I can definitely understand why. I will be craving more meat soon and I’ll be back to try more from the menu. They often run set menus for days like Mothers/Fathers Day, Seafood Platters for Good Friday. Service is fantastic here also. ✔️

If you've been waiting forever for a greek restaurant to open in Maidstone, then wait no longer. The Naughty Greek has quickly opened in a brand new shop on Hampstead Road. We visited on opening night. The place was buzzing with customers, and despite it being their first night, the kitchen was sending food out to tables without too much delay. The servings were huge. The open gyros meat was a little on the dry side, but the mediterranean paella was outstnading. Not a traditional paella, but the seafood was delicous and I'd definitely order this meal again. The prices were very reasonable. Very very reasonable. Staff were rushed on a busy night, but not too busy to take care of all of the customers. Edit. After a few more visits I'm hooked on their very reasonably priced hamburgers which are in extraordinary home made bread rolls.

We had the mix grill for 3 ($80) and some calamari. We arrived around 5.30pm on Saturday. By 6.30pm the place was pretty packed. We didn't need a booking, however they were struggling to fit everyone in by the time we were leaving. The servings are decent. I am a big eater and usually have to finish off the other families meals, but even this was too much for me. It was a nice change to actually be full when leaving a restaurant. It was extremely flavoursome, I don't like salad that much however even the salad was nice and fresh! The only downfall was the chicken skewers, which were very dry, like they were just reheated on a grill, but everything else was fresh and delicious! The calamari was one of the best we have eaten also.

Hands down favourite restaurant in the west!! I basically live off naughty greek 3-4 days a week, this would likely be more if they weren't closed Tuesdays, and on the earlier closing times then some local stores, none the less the food speaks for itself, in the 50+ orders I have made I have had one error in my meal, which was promptly corrected, the sincere apology for the error was something you do not generally see these days and above and beyond to correct it.

My favourites are the mixed grill for 2 - I usually purchase 2 of these and this feeds my family of 5 plus lunch leftovers the following day. Or swap it up get one mixed grill for 2 and one for 3 and you have the best assortment of succulent meats.

Mixed gyros with pita and seasoned rice- hands down best quick snack and again always leftover for the following day toasted up in the grill

Don't even get me started on the loukoumades - those melt in your mouth pieces of heaven are Devine!!

The street burger deal is like nothing I've seen before !! 2 homemade burgers and chips for $25!! Can't even get a deal that good at crusty ol macca D's!! Let me tell you these burgers are monstrous! And I'm lucky I can ever finish half of mine 🤣

My only sad points is the closing before 9 especially on a Thursday/Friday/Saturday, the amount of times I have had late night cravings and haven't been able to get my NG fix, and have attempted desperately to get gyros from nearby stores and been left in tears, I have literally cried, cried big girl tears, because just nothing compares but in saying that when you cooking food this good it's understandable y'all need rest too.

Please don't ever leave me, you all rock and absolutely look forward to every delivery and...

Absolutely despicable. Ordered 'the feast' for pick expecting enough food to feed a family. However what we got instead would be lucky to feed one adult. When I called to confirm if there was perhaps a mistake with the order the owner yelled at me and said 'what do you expect lady'. Seriously, what do I expect? For $100 I expect to have a tray of mixed gyros as it stipulates on the website, not a small bowl that would be lucky to feed an adult and chips that could feed a 5 year old. Absolutely disgusting to say the least. We were warned by others that had been to eat at the restaurant about the owners arrogance and rude behaviour but wanted to give the business the benefit of the doubt. Never again. Do yourselves a favour and go to 2fat Greeks. Best greek food and value for money guaranteed.

Your reply to this review is you trying to come out on top. I had my family with me when I made the call so I can guarantee there was no bad language and manners. The manners that were untamed were yours. I've seen the reviews about your rudeness. Your customer service skills and cooking are definitely something that needs to be checked. You are the last place I would be recommending or coming back to. I will keep recommending the best in the area,...
