The place is a complete scam. Would never come here again. If I could give 0 stars to this place I would because everything was bad. This is not authentic Cantonese food, if it is, then it’s a disgrace to the culture that I grew up from. It was barely even edible, wouldn’t even feed it to animals. The service was terrible. The food was overpriced for what it was.

First when trying to order, the workers ignored and when we ordered not that many dishes, the waiter gave us a dirty look. The waiter was judging us for how much we ordered. Moreover, they gave attitude when ordering food, I’ve worked in hospitality and customers always come first. It’s not nice to stare at people when they are eating, your not making a comfortable environment and not making us want to eat and makes us want to leave. If you want to judge us, don’t stand right infront of us and stare.

The food was either bland or really salty. The Peking duck rolls were microwaved as the plate itself was hot. The Peking duck rolls is supposed to be crispy duck skin with little meat but it was mostly meat and the cucumber was hot. The mushroom and vegetable dish was salty, they put way too much oyster sauce in the dish and the vegetable was overcooked. The roasted duck skin and meat was dry. The skin is generally supposed to be a crispy texture and meat is supposed to be moist. The fried rice if you can even call it that, had 0 flavour. Anyone can make a better dish than that. The bitter melon and mixed pork stir fry had barely any minced pork.

Moreover, the space that we eat was obviously not big enough for 5 people when they could’ve given us a bigger table because the place was not even that busy. Overall this place was uncomfortable, overpriced and...

Bad service, rude and unpleasant front of house staff. Food is so-so and overrated and doesn't justify arrogant attitude of counter staff. Nothing fantastic to be arrogant about.

Personally encountered when they short change you if you don't speak native Cantonese/Chinese. Happy to give them benefit of doubt but honestly felt they were dodgy as cashier was standing right next to the order taker who was yelling out the amount in Chinese for takeaway BBQ. When questioned why the amount was different to the cash taken, after some initial resistance and outright lie-to-your-face response, the cashier charged the correct amount in the end. I would say it's either dishonesty at worst, or incompetence at best. In light of that, more than happy to take my business elsewhere. Encourage you to check your bills and change given before leaving the venue. If it happened to me, could happen to someone else.

The honey pork ribs are not as good as 12 months ago and definitely gone backwards. Loads of fat content compared to before. Fat on the ribs tastes good and is expected but not when it's...

I went there to have dinner with my gf. I stood there for 10 mins waiting to be waited for a table even though they are right Infront of us. Everyone ignores us and they told us they don't have any tables. However I can see two tables available and if was 7.30pm with no reserve sign. The lady told us off rudely, I was still ok with that and wanted to do a take away with their roast pork.i can see a slab of roast pork left but the lady shooed us away rudely. I mean.. I understand the business is good and pack, but do you have to treat your local xustcusto poorly? You can always say sorry we are full and our roast pork is finished. The customer service is appalling and no matter how good their food are, I will never go back and recommend anyone to go there .Appalling service and the worst experience you can ever get. I wonder if the business can declined customers even though they...

If you like fresh fish, try Phoenix Soars in Jackson Court! Get the "one fish, two dishes", for $68. You will get a stir-fried fish with veggies, and another dish of "fried", "braised" or "soup". The fish is super fresh, sturdy and boneless, so you can't go wrong. We had the Fried version once and the Braised another time. My favourite is the Fried version, nice and crunchy, but beware! It's the head and fins thats fried. You MUST also have the Garlic Pork ribs, deep-fried! Best ever! They are famous for their Roast Pork and Roast Duck, so don't forget those as well. You don't have to ask "What should we eat?" any more! Incidentally, some of the dishes are not great. Don't order the sweet and sour pork. Overall, some dishes are not great, but the good ones are amazing. Unfortunately this knocked off a star from my rating, otherwise, they would have gotten 5 stars from me.

Maybe three stars is ungenerous, but as there are no half stars four felt too much. We had lunch here and the place was suspiciously quiet. I hear it does better business at dinner time though. The service was fine. Workmanlike and unfriendly, but got the job done. In classic Chinese restaurant style, the food came out sporadically and somewhat randomly (why on earth would rice come last?). The duck and pork belly were decent, but the sausage was barely warm. The fried rice was a bit bland and greasy but had a hint of charm with a tiny amount of char flavour (that’s a positive). The place is clean and decently decorated. I doubt we’ll ever go back though, as there’s little to recommend. Yep, I stand by my three start review. A middle of the road score for a middle of the road restaurant.
