I have been away for 2 years, but very happy to say Leo and Peter are still the owners,....so, June, 2016. I really love great Chicken and chips, having lived all over Melbourne including Fitzroy North, and I love all types of foods from around the world. so I think I know great food. I started work nearby this shop at the Start of March, 2016. This is the BEST Chicken shop in Melbourne, and I have tried quite a few. The boys here serve a MOIST Chicken and ALL times of the day, try that with most shops, and their chips are brilliant. I love a breast, but only if it's not dried out, but also like a leg, this chicken is so good I now have half a chicken with chips, it is so good. They also have a huge range of salads, roast vegies and spuds, but again how can I eat more then my half chicken and chips!! cost $11.50

Absolutely outstanding customer service with a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere. First time customer and after placing my order they offered I take a can of soft drink free of charge, a kind gesture such as this is so rare to receive from businesses nowadays and truly reflects their genuine care and appreciation for customers. The lady that served me was so welcoming and easy to talk to, her smile and overall joy was contagious. The food was delicious, with beautifully cooked and generously filled portions. Jackson Court Charcoal Chicken is hands down one of the best spots in town! The charcoal chicken is always juicy and full of flavour, and the lamb charcoal is simply amazing. Their salads are fresh, healthy, and the perfect complement to the meal.

What really makes this place special is the staff — even when they’re busy, they still take the time to greet you with a smile, have a quick chat, and make sure you’re looked after. They genuinely care about their customers and do their best to meet your needs every time.
