Pizza D'oh — Restaurant in Melbourne

The food is good but I ordered my food through menulog, I always watch the app to see when it’s on its way, the app didn’t say it was coming, I got a phone call from a woman saying my food has been left on my outdoor table (I don’t have an outdoor table) when i got home my door was wide open, my dog and cats were missing, the food was on my bench, the guy had walked into my home and put it on my bench 😳 I called up to say I was shocked, angry ect and was told I was lying and that my door was open and he placed it on the floor, so what happened to him leaving it on the table? (Lies) I was treated horribly and told them I want my money back as we didn’t even eat the food because we were to busy looking for our pets. The guy said to me “look we don’t believe a word your saying but I’ll bring your money around, we have called the police on you and they will be in contact with you” I called the police and the officer said “no call has been made from them and not to worry” this experience was very stressful for me and my children who now are worried about staying home alone because someone might just walk in our house. I’m horrified and disgusted in these people. I love supporting local businesses but this one I will never support again. I never got an apology or my money back I got called a liar and threatened with police, all very confusing...

I'm still reeling from my last dining experience so I was hoping pizza couldn't be done badly. My goodness! Tasteless rubbish on a rubber dough. If melbourne is the restaurant capital, this is not one of the highlights. Why is it so hard to make a tasty pizza? It's very disappointing to pay for bad food that doesn't better a frozen equivalent. People who can't understand a dish and have no idea how to add flavour is what you have here. It is irrelevant how many years a business has been running. The prices charged are in no way an indication of quality expectations. I wouldn't pay an amateur to do work at qualified trades rates. This is sub-par amateur food. The dough is not properly levened and ingredients are rapidly defrosted which dries them and ruins texture. The tomato sauce is a cheap tasteless base from a wholesale supplier. If you have cooking skills, it doesn't show. There are people who don't know and think it's ok. There a short supply of takeaway in the area which best explains...

Absolutely terrible food & service.

Spent the night in the area and thought we would try local food, Pizza D'oh was pumping when we arrived at 7:40 to place a takeaway order- lots of customers so we thought we'd give them a go. We were told that our food would take no longer than 15 minutes, half an hour went by & we asked the staff - they had forgotten the pasta that went with the pizza order - fair enough it happens... Told it would only be another 5 minutes.. 10 minutes later not only did we receive COLD and uncut pizza it was absolutely horrible all of the toppings were dumped into the middle of the pizza with half a bag of rocket thrown on top. The pasta was under cooked and yuck.
