Degani Greensborough — Restaurant in Melbourne

I took 3 clients to lunch and will never be back here. First meal received incorrect without the paid for added extras. My meal came out and the meat was stone cold. Third meal had a burnt chicken parmigiana on it and the fourth didn't come out. After 10 minutes we asked if it was on it's way only to come out a few minutes later with a cold steak in it and was sent back. A new steak sandwich was served but with the incorrect ingredients ordered. The client was not impressed and refused the meal as they didn't want wait any more for it and asked to have it removed form the bill. Waitress was sent back to tell us it was company policy not to refund only give a credit or choose something else. I then intervened and apologized to the waitress for having to deal with the situation and asked her to get the gutless manager to deal with this situation as that is her job and stop hiding behind the coffee machine barking commands to these poor young waitress'. She relayed that to the manager who then sent the waitress back with our refund. She could have come over and turned a negative situation to positive but chose to ignore the problem and us leaving with 4 negative views on the dinning experience. If you want to have a nice meal with a good experience then i suggest you avoid this place and never bring potential...

This is the second time we have had a disappointing experience at Degani, and I feel compelled to write this review in the hope that the management takes notice. Unfortunately, we have decided that we won't be dining here again. The staff at Degani were unwelcoming and lacked any sense of friendliness or warmth. To make matters worse, multiple tables were left uncleaned for a significant amount of time, while one staff member appeared to be aimlessly wandering around, not attending to any tasks.

When the staff member finally decided to clean a table next to us, it was done with such laziness that he actually dropped a sharp knife, narrowly avoiding injuring nearby customers. This kind of carelessness is unacceptable and poses a serious safety risk. While the food quality was decent, the overall service was incredibly poor. To top it off, at the end of our visit, the staff didn't even bother to bid us goodbye or offer any form of courtesy.

It's disheartening to have such an unpleasant dining experience, and it's clear that the service at Degani needs significant improvement. We hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues to ensure a better customer experience...

My daughter and I went for a casual Friday night dinner. Her meal arrived after about 25 mins and 20 mins later mine finally arrived. I ordered medium steak, I'm sure it had been cooked from frozen as the centre was not cooked and completely cold. The texture of the meat was weird and it was also extremely tough. When asked by the young female waitress how my uneaten food was I politely explained that it was not at all good and the reasons. She said she would get her manager, then a young male waiter came to our table he asked what the issue was, believing that he was the manager explained the issue. He like the young girl was very polite and said he would speak to the manager. The manager was "to busy" to speak to me and offered only a 10% discount.. I felt really sorry for the young man as he was only doing what he was instructed and clearly not agreeing with his boss so I simply told him I appreciated his help and I would note my dissatisfaction in the form of an...
