A magnificent, classic and an authentic Chinese feast @redcliffchinese is what will make you fall in love with this traditional Chinese restaurant. The vibe here is very elegant and charming with bright Chinese decor. Perfect for a date night as well.

What we had here:

Peking duck (half) served with duck friend rice, pancakes, sliced greens, Peking duck sauce. No where you’ll find that the duck is being served with the fried rice. Also the pancakes were so light and fresh, and that Peking duck was cooked to perfection. So amazing and high quality, strongly recommended.

Kung Pao chicken, I’m definitely coming back for this one, this was totally next level, so yummy, packed with bomb flavours and other those peanuts made the entire dish just fantastic. Must try.

Mao’s braised pork belly with greens, this was such a comforting dish with juicy, tender pork belly melting in the mouth. The flavour of this one, I’d say, was very refreshing and tasty.

Steam Yellow Bun, sweet, fluffy, perfectly steamed buns complimented so well with the spicy dishes.

Grilled Fish with tofu, this one is perfect for cold, winter evenings, boiling hot whole barramundi is served on a bed of tofu and a lovely, calming and flavoursome broth. Really mouthwatering and tempting to eat this was, the fish was simply perfect. Strongly recommended.

Tsingtao, Chinese beer was very light, not very bitter yet very refreshing to drink.

The prices of the food here are slightly above average, because of the unmatched quality and of the huge portions of everything. Also the service is super smooth, led by a team of professional, friendly and helpful team of staff and manger. Moreover, the restaurant is super clean, hygienic and spacious.

Red Cliff boasts hearty Chinese dishes aimed at feeding families in overwhelmingly generous portions to foster a sense of kinship. Their menu is extensive and gives you a real sense of what regional Chinese cuisine is all about.

Despite feeling like we ordered the whole damn menu, it was actually just a fraction of what they had to offer 🤰🏻 The highlight for me was the sichuan crispy pork which was so juicy but still had the numbing kick from the peppercorns. We also enjoyed the yabby noodles - the dish alone could feed a family of 5 (with kids) 😂 so recommend coming prepared with takeaway containers (no food waste here 🙅🏻‍♀️) or come with a group of friends.

FEATURED FOOD: 🥢 Half peking duck $37 - I’ll never say no to peking duck when it’s on the menu. The meat was tender and when wrapped with hoisin and fresh cucumber, nothing can beat it!

🥢soy braised pork belly $22.8 - a common Chinese household dish, felt really heartening eating something that reflects so much of my culture.

🥢Sichuan crispy pork - as I said earlier, this was my fav dish of the night, highly recommend trying when visiting 💖

🥢yabby noodles $34 - loved their rich curry-like sauce, while it did hide some of that yabby flavour, it was overall still a nice dish.

🥢 fresh chilli and sichuan pepper fish soup $28.8 - prepare your tastebuds to take spice because this was 🌶️ 🔥, a good dish for spice lovers or risk-takers 😂🫣

🥢preserved long-bean with pork fried ride $22.8 - a fried rice done well; could definitely taste the wok hei which is essential in fried rice.

🦆 北京烤鴨 Peking Duck Almost every table had the Peking duck,  clearly their signature for good reason!They've sold over 50,000 of these! Those handmade duck pancakes were thin with  secret sauce, cucumber and spring onion

🥩  小炒黃牛肉 Stir-Fried Beef This dish is so good with rice! The marbled Wagyu beef with bell peppers and coriander was so flavorful

💦🌶口水雞 Mouth-Watering Chicken Classic Sichuan dish that never disappoints! The silky poached chicken with spicy chili oil sauce is absolutely addictive 😍

🍲 乾鍋葛筍 Dry Pot Celtuce Crisp celtuce stir-fried with thin pork slices

🔥 爆炒肥腸 Wok Fried Pork Intestines Perfectly textured and seasoned with aromatic spices
