If I could rate nothing I would I ordered 3 large meals tonight for me and my partner and friend and their orders were completely fine except for mine I ordered a rooster roll that had come in the bag and was squashed at the bottom and the chicken was falling out it was also boiling I couldn’t fix it myself without burning my fingers so I had asked my partner to ask the team member at the front to see if they could replace the roll since it was at the bottom of the bag, my partner come back to tell me he would not replace the item and it was his fault for “holding” it wrong which was not the case I had just got the bag pulled it out and it was at the very bottom in the rooster bag so I asked my partner to get a refund since I was not eating that all he had to do was refund me for the rooster roll not the whole meal or had replaced the item and made a new one he suggested for me to pay for a new one! When it’s their fault it’s at the end of the bag I did not put it in there like that I did not make the order I even took a photo of the meal at the bottom of the bag to show as proof it wasn’t our fault, so i asked my dad to see if he could replace it refund since I was not eating it, he again said no and told us to report the incident as feedback online and wait for them to decide what to do with the situation, my dad wasn’t happy so he placed it on the counter telling them to take it out it in the bin then the team member decided to throw it at my dad from the front counter and was using aggressive language toward him my partner wasn’t happy so he chucked the rooster roll back at him and the team member decided to attack and punch him, my partner has disability’s he had thought the team member was being aggressive toward my dad so he wanted to defend him incase the situation got worse and which it did and my partner was assaulted by the team member for throwing the rooster roll back at him when he threw it at my dad while cursing at him, he then placed the blame on us and only asked us to leave once after he hit and punched my partner we called the police they done absolutely nothing and told us to contact red rooster head quarters which we googled and looked there is no phone number or email we can contact about this situation so we had to leave we couldn’t even eat our food because we were trying to get the team member off my partner wasted 100$ worth of food because the team members aggression and stubbornness, He said customer is always right is not their policy it doesn’t matter about the food but how the team member reacted towards my dad and partner how hard was it to either refund a 10$ roll or replace it ? Instead, you gotta throw it at them and assault them for it I worked at KFC for two and a half years to avoid situations like this we just listen to the customer and give them what they want no matter if it was their fault or not but clearly in this situation red rooster blames their customers even though it was fresh out the bag just grabbed it and sat down makes no sense red rooster, you seriously need to hire better staff and get an actual manager to run the store no manager that I’ve seen has ever...
Read moreI’m gonna be fr I think the people who do the close shift at this location are probably going through something and can’t afford enough therapy so they take it out on customers. I’ve ordered a few times from this location and every single time I’m have received some monstrosity. I’m starting to think it’s a personal vendetta but maybe I’m just used to abusive relationships because I absolutely love a rippa roll. But I’m starting to think it’s impossible to actually get one. The last two times being the most insane “replacements” for what I assume is a sold out item?? Tonight I received hot wings (I don’t eat chicken off the bone) as well as literally everything wrong with items I don’t eat but the time before that was ABSOLUTELY feral. Instead of a rippa roll I got a wrap that was literally drowning in mayo I literally spat out my first bite because it was just mayo, like a literal mouthful of mayo. The next bite? Went home (which is a 5 min car trip) only to discover the lone Flayva was not in the bag - but it was paid for.
So I went back to the restaurant to inform staff what had happened.
Walked inside and I noticed frustration and a lot of panic between staff.
I told staff what had happened regarding my forgotten item, I was not offered an apology or a refund for the mistake - just simply told - that it was "a mistake".
Then I noticed a bit of tension between 2 young females (1 of African descent with a headscarf & another tall female with glasses). The African female slammed the cash register closed where it seemed she was frustrated about something.
I then looked into the back kitchen at a young male's choice of attire - while cooking - sweatpants that were lower than usual exposing his undergarments.
If you are representing a company, wearing a company uniform must be of utmost importance - not wearing a hoodie and be professional around customers.
This was just unacceptable.
A small suggestion - maybe a little bit of a refresher would be handy on how to handle various situations and also consider updating...
