Arrived fifteen minutes before closing time. My son slipped on the wet floor and cracked his elbow hard on the polished concrete floor. I said to the woman at the register who was watching only a few metres away that the floor was wet, and she simply said that she had mopped it. I asked why there wasn’t a ‘wet floor’ sign and she gestured towards a sign behind the front door that was probably fifteen metres away and completely unobvious. She showed zero concern or remorse, which I found bizarre. Please show more concern for your customer’s safety – the outcome could have been...

I ordered halwa bel jibn on the phone like any other Arab who is going to imagine the normal plate that is cut in pieces , I went there and found them selling me their left overs dew with some cream , the excuse was I said it’s not a gift it’s for home !!!! Since when we get the left overs of things and sold it me by 40$ per kilo I can’t even believe the amount of cream he put for the whole plate was nothing comparing to the normal ones we have in shops , sorry to say it was really bad experience and I’m not going there anymore . Really disappointed, hoping you don’t do it...

I came here because I was told they served really delicious kunafa. The lady behind the counter was a little impatient I thought considering there wasn’t anyone else in the queue. Service was short and I guess to the point but what disappointed me the most was the kunafa. Perhaps it’s because I asked for a takeaway and such dessert should be consumed on the premise. I had one bite and pretty much chucked the rest of it away.

They do have a big selection of desserts so I’m sure not everything will be as bad but considering I don’t live in the area, I won’t be in a...

I have been here a few times, you either get amazing customer service or you get bad depends who's working and how fresh the sweets are it's like a raffle ticket bucket you get what you get. The place is clean customer service could improve if the employees would make it feel more alive and be wanting to do that. surtin sweets I think should always be hot and available to purchase. Over all its nice to just chill if you're around.

The other day we bought Ablas patisserie Traditional Biscuit 400gm from our local Epping, Victoria shopping centre. We bought it because shop had ran out of fresh Greek shortbread. And I was skeptical about it because usually those packet ones are not authentic or good. But this one is different!!!! So fresh and moist not dry and mot too sweet! and taste is a world class! I 100% recommend this biscuit!

Came here to pick up some baklava and they had cashew, walnut and pistachio baklava. Bought 500g of the cashew and walnut, $40/kg and the service was warm and friendly. There were also a huge selection of other Middle Eastern patisserie. The baklava was not overtly sweet which is fantastic and the pastry was thin and crunchy just as I like it, will be back for more next time!
