Over priced. Small portions. Poor food safety standards. Poor value for money. ok, where do i start... ordered a small chicken shish wrap combo ($14) and the mix shawarma meal (Priced at $25 though wasnt told it is $5 extra for mixed, so $30 all up). The shop looks sparkling clean and so i had high expectations. I watched in disgust as the guy making the order handled everything by hand... even putting on the raw chicken skewer with a gloved hand then handling cooked food and salad with the same glove. He was handling everything with that glove. Then the second guy comes out to help and after adjusting his hair net gets straight in to handling the food with his gloved hand. I doubt either has completed their food safety course. The quality of food that came out was dissapointing. Chicken shish was dry, tiny and they put chips in it without asking just to bulk it up. The lamb shawarma was mostly dry and unseasoned. The chicken shawarma mostly undercooked with pink bits all through it. The chips had been handled by hand so had flavours of everything else he touched on it. Overall, was a disspointing meal. Service reasonable though they didnt check up once we got our meals. They could clearly see something was wrong as i left most of it on the plate. The place wont survive if they continue to operate like this. Personally, i wont be wasting any more money there. I can see why the place was dead on a...

The service was excellent. What I can only assume to be the husband-wife duo were very receptive to our needs and made some excellent suggestions for our dining choices (which included modifications to the menu). The full chicken meal (seen below) definitely exceeded expectations with size and extras - good chips are hard to do and they definitely hit the mark, as well as a number of other snacks added on to the large plate which we did not expect - definitely large enough to serve 2-4 hungry people. The grilled chicken was unfortunately a little burnt in some areas but otherwise great. At the time we went, we were one of only a handful of customers seat which was perplexing given how long we had to wait for our order. This didn't detract from our experience overall in the end. The loveley waiter gave us some delectable arabian halva (on the house) to end our meal. Easy free parking nearby. Definitely...

Was driving past, told the Mrs to go in grab a small shawarma container so we could try it. We weren’t hungry but know what a good shawarma should taste like. Mrs ordered and paid for a small meat container $23. Not a problem. Mrs noticed the girl serving must have misunderstood because she started putting chips and pickles in the same container. When my Mrs said oh no I wanted meat only, then the guy behind the counter said sorry too late. Still not a problem. The chicken shawarma was the problem way too dry and the spices used incorrect for what traditional Lebanese shawarma uses. I think that the people that have left good reviews have no idea what good shawarma tastes like. When your shawarma is the best then you can tell a customer sorry too late. When your shawarma is the best then you can tell the customer whatever you like.Well sorry it’s too late now and we won’t be...

So excellent and deserving to be rated as some of the best Lebanese food in Melbourne. Everything here is done with love and care, no shortcuts. The delicious felafel, made on the spot, perfectly crispy outside, steamy and aromatic in the middle. Barbecued meats like Kafta are served with amazing creamy toum, but the standout here is the Kibbe Nayeh. It’s not for everyone, but if you are a steak tartare lover and you’ve never tried Kibbe Nayeh, please do yourself a favour and check this dish out. It’s simple, but absolutely delicious and the texture of the meat interlaced with Burghul wheat is just perfect. If you live in the inner north and haven’t tried these guys (they opened just in time for Covid) go and give them a try. Staff are friendly and courteous, price is reasonable but for the quality it can’t be beaten. So good .

Middle easter right here in Melbourne, just like it tasts back in the middle east, certainly the closest you can have in Melbourne. Great service and clean environment. The owner and the staff are good & experienced at what they are doing. All the food including the shwarma is freshly made in house with their special seasoning and the portions are generous and satisfying. 🔷️Location: high Street Preston 🔷️Cuisine: Lebanese (Middle eastern) 🇱🇧 🔷️Our Order: Mixed Shawarma, Labne, & lamb sausage (Makanek) 🔷️Our Reviews: 🔹️Cleanliness: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️ 🔹️Costumer Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️ 🔹️Food Quality: ⭐⭐⭐⭐️⭐️ 🔹️Order wait time: Aprox 10 minutes 🔹️Price: Around $20 for a large wrap 🔹️Atmosphere: indoorr/outdoor tables. 🔹️Clientele: Good for families, kids, couple, groups...
