I just moved to Preston and was so excited to find this little hidden gem. It's a small venue but was completely packed on a Monday night - so I highly recommend you book in advance. The servers were so sweet and friendly and despite the restaurant being full, we were attended to very promptly and our meals were served within 15 minutes of ordering. I dined with my Coeliac friend, and we were very pleased with the amount of Gluten Free options on offer. The Roti Bread was a bit too crunchy for my liking however the peanut sauce made it up for it. It was thick, sweet and had a spicy kick to it. Delicious. The Pad Thai was a highlight for me - it was tangy and flavorful, and the juicy Prawns really elevated the dish. The Prawns were also massive! Thai Chicken Green Curry had the perfect amount of spice, and the chicken was cooked perfectly, and the ratio of protein to vegetables was perfect. We also ordered a coconut rice which was fragrant and complimented the curry perfectly. The food was well priced, and the portion sizes were reasonable. Having worked in a Thai restaurant myself for 5 years I was seriously impressed with the quality of the food and service here and I can't wait to come back!

We dined at Pad Cha as a group of 6 recently. The place is quite small (a little bigger than the size of a medium bedroom) so make sure to book in advance if you're wanting a table. Overall, the food was quite yummy (the Thai Green Curry was my favourite) and the prices were decent. However, the service was just below average. We made multiple orders as people arrived but it was quite hard getting the attention of the waiter(s) as they were constantly talking with each other and not looking around the restaurant for any customers that might need assistance. At one point, I had my hand up for 10 minutes before they noticed. I normally wouldn't mind but because of this, the people who wanted to order their food after arriving had to wait longer for their food to be made while our food arrived faster and we could start eating. When they did notice, they were super nice and attentive, when the restaurant wasn't too busy.

This is the kind of place locals go to for a quiet night out. The place was busy when we entered around 8pm, which is a big thumbs up from my PoV. Quickly seated with menus and water, we soon had our orders in. Just as quickly, our crunchy Barramundi fillets with apple salad arrived. The crispy fillets were combined with a tart dressing that was offset by the slight sweetness of the apple strips. The stir-fried seafood with curry sauce tickled the tastebuds, with textured and flavourful seafood pieces and a selection of veggies. We chose coconut rice to raise the aroma to another level. Service was minimal but satisfactory. Typical of the area, the restaurant was mostly empty by 8.35, sapping it of the atmosphere associated with a packed space. Overall, it was good for comfort food and decent quality, but unremarkable in the other aspects that help to perfect experiences.

This has been a staple for many years. Have dined here with family and groups of friends, introducing many to it. However, now, I'm not sure if I will return. One thing I will credit them with is that their food always comes out pretty promptly, and that was the case last night. Some of the food was fabulous such as the Massaman Curry, one dish was quite disappointing, the barramundi in tamarind sauce, which was way way too fishy (they leave the skin on. I don't remember this dish tasting quite like this in the past. Have had it many times). The Pad Thai was pretty good. We also ordered roti with peanut sauce which was great as a starter. I get they need to make money, it is a business after all, however, this place runs with strict session times that only allow 90 minutes to dine. As a result, we simply ran out of time, and 80 minutes in, the bill was basically slapped on the table and we were told we had to leave, with no time to order dessert, as the next booking was arriving soon. I think they need to consider allowing people at least two hours to finish their meal If they have booked. It felt very rushed, like being at a busy pho place, where you're in and out within the hour. We expected to be able to enjoy the atmosphere, after a long week. This has left a pretty sour taste in my mouth and I'm not sure I will return, as I...

Had a really enjoyable dinner for my mums bday last night. We ordered a feast and had the Spring rolls (chicken and veg), satay skewers, and curry puffs. The Spring rolls had very little filling in them, and we would have enjoyed more sweet chilli sauce to accompany them. The satay skewers were delicious and had generous amounts of their yummy sauce. The curry puffs were enjoyable also. For mains we ordered pad thai, beef thai salad, pepper, chilli basil stir-fry with coconut rice, and the roti with satay sauce. Everything was delicious, I will say though I was disappointed with the coconut rice. It didn't have a strong coconut flavour at all, definitely wasn't infused with coconut milk. I thought it was just plain rice it was that mild! The ladies serving the food were very lovely and the food came out quite fast considering how busy they were. It is though a very small place, quite loud, and tables are very close to each other. The price of the food is very reasonable, and we will definitely return...
