We were promptly seated by the friendly hostess, and our server wasted no time in attending to our needs.

Wow! What a gem the Republic Tavern is! We visited for a Sunday lunch , and not knowing what to expect, and we were blown away with this establishment - very modern, spacious, and ambient with comfortable seating and excellent viewing of the big screens for sports viewing (bonus!). The service was prompt, friendly, and the staff were very knowledgeable on the menu and the large range of drinks (beer in particular). The food, the food...... A great menu with varied options to cater for all of our tastes. Ordering was easy through the QR code app or over the counter, and the prices were equivalent to prices you would pay elsewhere. The meals arrived promptly (which was a bonus given as we had cinema bookings that day as well), and once placed on the table we were pleasantly satisfied with the portion sizes of the meals - not too small (we were hungry) and not to big (we struggled with the last few bites). They were well presented and certainly looked appetising! We were not disappointed with the flavours of our meals, we were well satisfied with the tastiness and finish of the meats and seafood. All-in-all, well worth a visit for a night out for dinner and drinks, the Republic Tavern is well worth the travel effort. We are already planning a return for some primetime sports,...

We Celebrated my Husbands 60th with an intimate gathering of Family. The atmosphere was a lovely rustic vibe in the 'Sun' room with overhead background chill music that added to the ambience. We were greeted by Staff that were Welcoming & nothing too much trouble. We grazed on a variety of Tapas & some also feasting on Main meals. I say 'feast' as the Meals were incredibly generous in size. The Menu options more than enough to please everyone. I started with the Republics very own Gin...Delicious. The Chardonnay Beautiful & buttery. The Guys enjoyed the tasting paddles of Republics own brewed Beers. Cocktails are a must and I would definitely recommend 3pm-6pm Everyday of the week as it is Happy Hour. Shiran is the Manager and made himself known to Us making sure we were satisfied. The only downside is it took me & a couple of my Guests a little time to find the Republic Tavern as there is zero signage out on Cooper St with no indication leading you to the venue. If you are directing guests make mention that it is at the back of the Mantra. I would imagine that signage would alert traffic to this venue especially if visit was unplanned.
