Was pretty excited to try this place out after reading reviews. Left feeling pretty disappointed and honestly a little ripped off. Understand not looking to compare to Hj or Maccers - rather comparing to Betty Burgers or a fave Fish ‘n Burger Co … Cost was $110 for 4 single burgers, 2 chips, extra cheese sauce, Coke Zero and 3x shakes.

Pros … restaurant has great atmosphere. Great seating. Cheese sauce was delicious. Recommend Oreo shake. Can order online and pay online. Cons: burger small. Plain. All meat patties rather plain, all were pretty rare. So recommend if you don’t like it pink pink, find a way to let them know you want it well done. Nothing stand out about burger. No salt available for chips when asked. Milkshakes arrived way after food was finished. Might give this place a couple of months to settle in before we try again....

Do not be fooled by the "Royal Stacks Doncaster". The food is indeed stacked - stacked by left over sauce and oil from a previously cooked food that went out to someone else. We as a company tried their food and it was absolutely disgusting. Do not ever buy from them, as disgusting as it sounds the leftover oil was used for the chips and fried chicken we ordered. STAY AWAY

We are writing again regarding the chicken (15 minutes later from the previous review). My god it is absolutely disgusting. You can never fault the fried skin but this tasted like seafood oil. The chicken was also dry and after a bite you can confirm the chicken is old.

Look after your health, we dont need these people around. Completely disregard for safety on the first level and zero care factor for its own product.

Royal Stacks until Easter Monday l was a loyal and regular customer. Disappointingly l phone ordered but was not advised that a 20% surcharge would be applied. Sorry but your prices are already up there and the additional 20% is over the top. I understand that you have to pay a higher rate of pay for the public holiday but that is your company issue. If you can't afford to pay the wages don't open. Simple. You don't see fish & chip stores or Maccas charging an extra 20%. Another mistake you made was not advising your customers of this surcharge. Only when l rang the store to question the high cost was l then advised. Read the room Royal Stacks, can you not see who is positioned very close to you in Doncaster East or anywhere really. You are surrounded by competition which is where l will be ordering from...
