Saint Lloyd — Restaurant in Melbourne

Just got back from dinner at St Lloyd and it was amazing!! We had a groupon for two for dinner, included a shared starter, choice of manin, desert and a glass of house wine!! Had the calamari for starter and was tender and tasty. Parma for main and again very very good!! Biscoff cheese cake for desert to top it all off!! Can't fault this little gem in Strathmore!! The staff were amazing too!! Two lovely ladies who were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble!! Sometimes when you use a groupon, you can feel a little awkward, however the staff here really welcomed the groupon and I would definitely go back!!

Gorgeous little cafe situated amongst lots of other shops and restaurants. Lots of free on street parking. Food and service were top notch. Lucy our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. Menu had lots of great options and all our meals were presented well and most importantly delicious. I had the rosti benedict and it was perfection. Maybe best rosti I have had to date. Fully licensed we finished off our meals and had a cheeky daytime cocktail. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cafe has big bathroom which would also allow easy pram access. High chairs...

We were really disappointed with the strawberry matcha. It tasted like milk with added flavouring (did not taste strawberry like at all), and when raised with staff, the response was simply to bring a spoon and tell us to mix it properly. For reference, the drink turned light pink and still tasted bad.

The food itself was okay but nothing exceptional. Portion size, quality, and flavour didn’t match the price point. The prices weren’t the issue, but the quality not living up to them was.
