Saki’s Coffee — Restaurant in Melbourne

Really good coffee!

Saki's had been a recommendation and we walked past so many times - en route to elsewhere, or it was very busy.

Rather glad we stopped by today as the coffee is really very good. Which even though Melbourne people go on about their coffee culture (yup, we are out of towners), we have found Toorak, Armadale and the city to be lacking over the last three weeks.

Unfortunately the Almond croissant was a bit dry, however the Portuguese tart was tasty.

The Coffee here is the best in Melbourne. Saki is one of the leading Barrista’s and Coffee specialists in this fine city. He was instrumental in the success of 1 of Melbournes Top Ten coffee’s that was in Malvern and has gone out on his own. He is also nicest guy in the biz and while we now have to travel a little further to get best coffee in town it is always worth it!!! In response to the owner: I arrived when there was 6 other customers all waiting for coffee, I actually let two people in front of me to order before me and then I had to wait 15 minutes while I watched assuming the owner make 6-8 coffees, this is ridiculous considering the coffee was not that good.
