Waited so long for our food Chicken on sizzling plate was salty as st kilda water 💦 Rice was hot and tasteless but the funny thing was the bowl of rice was hotter than the actual rice😏 that means the rice and bowl were both spent some times in microwave together which is pretty disappointing😖 Chicken momo was cold as rock as they were frozen and not fresh and they blame it on dipping sauce as we didn’t even use the dipping sauce lol The waitress lady tried it herself and she said : yeah you’re right thats cold I’m sorry 😐 let me go check with the kitchen Then the chef came out and he’s like it’s cause of the dipping sauce lol again As they were forcing us to be waited for another 20 minutes to get another plate of chicken momo ready for us we already lost our appetite Offered to try something else and if we couldn’t eat it take it home and have it later lol Force to buy action, they couldn’t convince us so they like don’t worry we won’t charge yous for it sorry but come back and next time would be better and I’m like sure will do 😕 Anyway long story short, we weren’t happy at all and feels like we just chucked our money in a rubbish bin Will not be going back thats for sure Just a quick advice to you awesome “new management people “ if you proud of what you serve and its your own traditional food make sure it worth the price tag and your...

What a delicious experience! As newbies to Indian/ Nepalese cuisine, I selected Savera based off an Uber Eats meal of Butter Chicken & Naan -Hands down best Butter Chicken in Melbourne! Thank you Anjana for your food recommendations! The Kashmiri lamb was lovely, Butter chicken as always is out of this world, Everest Momos, OMG! My new favourite! The Golden Prawns, Calamari & Fish Pakora were just gorgeous, as was the salad they sat on! Thank you Anjana, Aran & Ditya for making our dining at Savera a most pleasurable experience. The food was divine, the service exceptional, our minds and waistlines are blown!! We will definitely be back! PS: Biggest regret was not taking photos of our delicious food, our fault for devouring our food so fast! Update: 25/08/2023 Ordered Butter Chicken, Everest Momos, Coconut rice, garlic naan. This is a standard order for me as we have had many take out dinners from here, this time I remembered to take a photo! So incredibly delicious, every single time!!! 5 star service, 5 stars for taste with a 5 star...

Disappointing Experience – Wouldn’t Recommend

We ordered the Mini Deal from this restaurant, which included butter chicken, seekh kebab, dal makhani, kanda bhaji, and naan (additional) costing around ~$60 AUD. Unfortunately, the food was far from satisfying.

The butter chicken was extremely tangy, to the point where it overpowered the dish. The dal makhani lacked any real flavour, which was disappointing. The kanda bhaji was perhaps the worst part — it was undercooked and tasted raw on the inside. The only saving grace of the meal was the seekh kebab, which was well-cooked and flavourful.

The delivery experience made things worse. The app changed the delivery time twice, and the food arrived after a frustrating 1.5-hour wait. When we called to check, we were told the restaurant only began cooking our order an hour after we placed it — apparently due to being busy and handling late orders already.

Overall, both the food quality and service were poor. Sadly, we won’t be ordering...

We visited your restaurant today evening. On the way to Melbourne. We ordered Mo:Mo, Butter naan & Garlic naan. Butter chicken & Matar paneer. Salad and raita. Food was amazing except Mo:Mo ko achar was bit spicy. I will be honest. But, the staff in the front was very rude and unwelcoming as soon we walked in. She was full on. Grumpy face. No greetings. Just with us.. noted. Discriminating behaviour. We were sitting on the table. She directly approach us and told us, next time when you come in wait to sit. Restaurant was not busy and there were no signs saying that you have to wait to sit. None of the table were reserved. She looked very smart. Her English was good. But, she treated us like we were there to eat free food.. this was not acceptable?! She apologise but we felt bad and humiliated. So, only for this reason I give you one star ⭐️ rating. Sorry. Wish you all the best.

We live in Mitcham so it's a bit of a drive to get here, but this has remained our go-to Indian place for the past couple of years. The quality of food is immaculate, the curries are rich and flavourful with spices and not watered down like a lot of other restaurants seem to do these days. Staff interactions have been quite polite, particularly from a young curly-haired man who always seats us at the table by the window if it's available. We usually have the same food every visit: Kashmiri Lamb (a MUST have), chicken briyani, garlic naans and a Beef Masala. It's so rich that we usually have enough to take home for lunch the next day... Whereupon it's even yummier! Try them out if you're in the area; you won't regret it!
