I recently visited a restaurant, and unfortunately, I had an incredibly disappointing experience. Despite having arrived well before closing time, the restaurant staff declined to serve me dine-in just 10 minutes prior to closing. I must say, their customer service left a lot to be desired.
Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted with a friendly smile from the hostess, and I eagerly took a seat, looking forward to a delicious meal. However, my excitement quickly turned into frustration when a member of the staff approached me and informed me that they were no longer serving dine-in customers due to the impending closing time.
Now, I understand that restaurants have their policies and closing times, but it was incredibly disheartening to be turned away so abruptly. As a paying customer, I expected to be treated with respect and hospitality, regardless of the time. I believe that good customer service should be a priority, even during the last minutes of operation.
What disappointed me further was the lack of empathy shown by the staff. Instead of offering alternative options or suggesting takeout, they simply dismissed my request and made me feel like an inconvenience. It's essential for a restaurant to create a welcoming atmosphere for all customers, regardless of the time or circumstances.
Not only did this incident leave a sour taste in my mouth, but it also made me question the overall professionalism and dedication of the staff. In my opinion, a good restaurant should go above and beyond to accommodate its customers, even if it means serving them a few minutes before closing time.
I hope the management takes note of this review and considers reevaluating their customer service policies. Turning away customers who arrive before closing time is not a good practice and reflects poorly on the establishment. It's crucial to treat all customers with kindness and courtesy, as it ultimately affects the reputation of the restaurant.

The first time my kids apple juice was missing from the kids meal I ordered. When I rang the store they blamed the Uber driver for stealing the drink. I could not be bothered arguing the point as to why an Uber drive would steal a kids apple juice so just dropped it and lost out on the drink. Today’s experience was the worst. Again ordered through uber eats totalling just under $70. When it arrived I opened the bag which was taped and saw my burger was missing. I rang the store to notify them and the “manager” said once again it was the uber driver. After saying it couldn’t not have been the bag was sealed she then asked a staff member if they packed my burger which they said yes. I said well I don’t have it and the bag is sealed. She then said she would take my number and call back after checking cctv! I said you can do that now and I will stay on hold. After a short while she returned, no apology just stating that I have to contact Uber and request a refund. I said I don’t want a refund I want my burger which I paid $18 for. She said I would need to contact my driver to return to the store to collect my burger. I called the driver back, he agree to call the store so I rang the store back to let them know. This time I got another unhelpful employee who said the manager I was dealing with was on break. She will take my number and call back. I said I would wait until she got the manager as I wanted my food. She put me on hold for a long time, once returning the manager said she can’t help me any more she has other customers to serve and I would need to take it up with Uber eats. How is this acceptable? I have paid for my food, not received it, not been issued an apology or rectification and I have to chase uber eats for it even though it’s not their fault it’s the stores!? Please explain. Read moreWent there last night, ordered 2 meals for takeaway, staff only took order for 1 meal. Probably didnt understand me very well. Asked for a toilet for my little one the guy at the counter said that toilet is blocked cannot use we need to go back to the shopping centre. While waiting for our food another family came in and ordered, asked for toilet for their son and the staff gave them the keys straight away. I confronted the staff as i was upset for having to wait for a wrong order and my 6 year old busting to go to toilet they couldnt say much as i actually witnessed what happened. Was not fair at all seemed very rasist to give the key to a family from the same background as the staff members (indian) and not to us. We all felt offended. The food was ok but having to wait for a wrong order for good 30mins to receive 1 meal for takeaway and then when i questioned them i was told they can make me a new one in only 3mins not sure how is that possible when for the previous one we waited nearly half an hour. However, not going back there at all, left with a wrong order, upset child and bad experience with their customer service. Tables were sitting with food on not cleaned for a while , the staff were not extremely busy with only 2 tables to serve not busy night at all.
