Mr Nomane — Restaurant in Melbourne

The reviews are so great so I was expecting a nice breakfast however I was so disappointed. One staff member just remained silent the entire time I spoke with her. I had to ask three seperate times for water for the table. My order was taken and charged for but then I was notified that the kitchen was out of the order I made and I needed to change it. This was fine, except for the fact that the new order of avo toast and poached eggs was so disappointing. One egg was undercooked, the avocado was so hard that after my first bite I took it all off and didn’t eat it, the avocado skin was also left on some of the avo slices? I added a side of bacon which randomly was only brought out after I had eaten half of the breakfast and it was only just cooked. The server also argued back and forth with me when ordering as she was trying to overcharge me (nice enough when she realised she was wrong but until that point, not as kind). I went with two others and one was disappointed by the thickness of the salmon (apparently not very nice at all) and the chilli scramble also was disappointing. Those of us who had drinks did enjoy those at least. I think the quality control in the kitchen must have been very off. I noticed the table behind us had left behind all of their hard avocado, as well as one poached egg which was basically hard boiled. I have never had such a disappointing tasting breakfast. I would unfortunately not...

Waited for over 10 minutes, and no one came to serve us. Very disappointing. Even when we walked out, no one really cared. But meanwhile, if you're WHITE, you get table water and menu within 30 seconds of seating.

Went back again after 2 months, and the lady refused to serve me but asked my white friend to take a seat.

She asked me to leave the coffee shop. I'd like to take the time and reply to the owner . This "theme" you mentioned is alas due to an unfortunate society we live in. Where one cannot simply walk into an establishment and get served. Where one cannot walk through a kmart or alike without having bags checked as others' are free to move and go about their days. I do no and will not expect someone of your skin tone to understand this. I understand the review must've hurt you, can you imagine how hurt I was ,being I had been there and enjoyed your establishment with friends...

I was recently in Melbourne from overseas ,for a short 2 week trip and my brother and his wife live locally and my sister in law said l know you luv good coffee and food you should try Mr Nomame it's new here , from the minute l walked in l was greated with a big hello by Hailey the barista who is so ace and a big hello from co owner Davide who is always there and makes the place ,,, l have stomach issues so l didn't order of the menu , but nothing was a hassle for these guys , so l made it my local during my trip , even on st patricks day Davide had everthing done in green for me even the coffee cup and plates 😎☘, this place is so good l cant recommend it highly enough , thanks for giving me an amazing place to eat have great coffee, hang out and have a laugh ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for Mr...
