Schnitz Monash University — Restaurant in Melbourne

There’s always a line when I go here of 5-10 mins and food always takes at least 20 mins, this time I went it took 40 mins- waitress came out to say that “the machine stuffed up and my order got lost” after 20 mins of ordering, food comes out 20 mins later with people behind me getting their food first, I asked for a discount or something for the poor service, manager came out and said my meal took longer coz I ordered gf wrap so “it takes extra care”. Sure I wouldn’t have a problem if that was actually why my order took longer but my order got apparently “lost” then they blame it on that I’m gluten free. And the fact he said “we have to take more care”, while I was waiting to order I saw the manager cooking chips, drop them on the floor and proceeded to kick them under the bench? Nice extra care. And for my friends food the waitress was wondering round aimlessly to tables asking if it was their food not evening looking at the table number were given. Never going here again, would give a 0...

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Schnitz in Monash! Without a doubt, it's the ultimate go-to spot for the most mouthwatering chicken and delicious food right on campus. The flavors and quality are unmatched, making every bite a true delight.

During my visit, I had the pleasure of being served by Vishal, who wore a name tag proudly displaying his name. Let me tell you, Vishal's service was nothing short of impressive. His attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and genuine enthusiasm truly elevated my dining experience. He made sure every aspect of my order was perfect, leaving me thoroughly satisfied and eager to return.

While I really like the Schnitz product, when you again and again have issues with one particular store you have to think there is something wrong with that store. That is the case with this Schnitz at Monash Uni in Clayton!

Word of advice: if you are getting a take away order, for goodness sakes check your food before you leave! Twice they have completely forgotten to include items on my order. In fact one time when I ordered, as part of a bigger order, 2 schnitzels, they initially left both out of the order they gave me. I brought this too there attention and thought the problem would be solved, especially after confirming for them numerous times it was 2 not 1 they had missed, only to arrive home to find they had only included 1!

So again, if you must go to get takeaway from this particular store, always double and triple check...
