Time and time again disappointed by Shareta monash uni. Almost half the toppings menu is crossed out. What is the point of opening a bubble tea store just to offer the most basic toppings then?? Substandard sharetea branch. Expanding on the very long waiting time: There is no shelter for customers. The sun is shining on you the whole time, which is stupid as people would get drinks on hot days. AND the seating area meant for customers has been blocked off by Sharetea so the staff can chuck their bags and clothing everywhere. Messy, dirty and unpresentable look compared to other Shareteas. If the store is dirty, makes you wonder if their food safety is up to par. Drink quality is very average for the price you pay. My last purchase was a taro milk tea with pearls, and it came with some taro/white powder still unmixed. How hard is it to mix powder in milk; other reviews have had the same problem so clearly it's a common problem at your store. Never going back I've learnt my lesson. I would rather spend my $7 at Boost or on 7litres of milk and powder and mix it myself, than for this low quality experience at Sharetea. Editing to say that this store also closes early before their...
Read moreSo, I emailed Sharetea customer care to put in my complaint after seeing it mentioned in the reviews here but it's been a week and no one's responded. So I guess, I have to put it on Google to get some acknowledgement! I usually buy bubble tea from their establishment in the CBD or at Carnegie where the quality of the tea has been good. I have bought tea at the Monash uni branch too but last week's Lychee Milk Tea was extremely bland and watered down - there was no taste of the lychee flavour at all. I had asked for normal sugar too and it was barely sweet. I was very excited to have my lychee bubble tea as I took it to class and opened it there to enjoy it but I was so disappointed that I spent my money that I could barely drink. I wasnât able to take it back to the shop as I was already in class but I hope something can be done about this as I wish to go back to having more bubble tea at sharetea. Not sure where to...
Read moreThis place is utilising the location advantages to take advantage of people They advertise the honey dew tea with pictures having pearl popping inside, while ordering, told me pear popping is not included. Asked which pearl on image, told me white perl, but when received it is actually jelly. I mentioned to the staff when I noticed this and they insist the petal is jelly, and refuse to do anything about it. Most importantly it Taste awful. Please do not give confusing names or misleading images. There is a better milk tea place next to the meet up place (outside the campus center clinic), it is a Chinese food court, which gives much better experience and...
