Schnitz Northland — Restaurant in Melbourne

What a horrible experience. It all started off with a tall man taking my order only to be extremely rude, abrupt and dismissive. I was still finishing my order as I wanted to add olives to my burger and he basically told me to stfu because he hadn’t finished asking me what drink I wanted first. My sister and I looked at each other in shock trying to understand if he was for real. I have never been so disgusted. I waited 15 minutes to finally receive my order only to find out it was all wrong. So we returned it and waited another 15 minutes only to receive a STALE burger. It was so stale that it all fell apart while I was trying to eat it. I was so turned off that I just left it after 3 bites. Honestly, not gonna lie I would probably get a better experience at a 3rd world country than this crap we had to endure. The girls making the burgers were all so lovely so I’ve got nothing bad to say about them but that tall manager looking guy needs to ABSOLUTELY go as his poor customer service is making this store look like rubbish. Honest opinion on this store… pretty low rating as this isn’t the first time I’ve chose to eat here & had the same experience. The little Indian girl working at front lacks customer service, doesn’t smile, doesnt acknowledge her customers, and basically throws the bags/food into peoples hands. I witnessed her handing quite a large bag to a little girl who was about 7yrs old, she didn’t smile or speak, but plonked the bag into the little girls hands.. I was watching the little girls face & to see she was confident enough to collect her family’s food with a smile on her face & to be ignored by the worker was rude. Food= average, snitzels weren’t as crispy & sparse in the wraps compared to other stores I’ve been to.. I think this store would benefit from taking a few lessons from the Ballarat store as their customer service & food is impeccable! 20.06.2025 time 14.10pm I’m /I was a loyal customer for many years. Spend around $150 weekly at this store. I ordered a chicken schnitzel and chips $14 The order arrived in less than 2 minutes which was surprising because they are vouching for fresh meals made when you order the meal. The crumb which is covering the chicken breast fell apart immediately but when I had my first bite the taste was off.I tried another bite from the other side and I had to spit out.The taste was sour.probably the meat wasn’t fresh.
