Simply Gnocchi — Restaurant in Melbourne

Best part is the portions. Ordered off uber eats and I always get nervous about the portions when I do so, because I really end up full. So I ordered extra, and now I have leftovers for the week! I had the chilli chicken gnocchi, cannelloni, and wedges. They were all PERFECT, absolutely exceeded my expectations. The gnocchi was soft, the chicken was full of flavour, and the wedges had a perfect crunch. I would love to know who made the ricotta in the cannelloni, because i can't think of another time I've eaten ricotta that was both soft and crumbly, and had such a good bite. My partner and I remember ordering from here when we first moved out in reservoir. It was as delicious and perfect then as it is now, we were sad when they closed temporarily whilst changing locations but we had it set in our minds we'd be going back.

We now live in mernda and it's almost a 40 minute drive, but absolutely worth every second. The beef al forno ragu is just simply to die for. Absolutely the best Gnocchi I’ve had in a long time. It was cooked to order, so soft and bouncy. Full of flavour and would definitely go again for my absolute favourite pesto gnocchi. However I went for the Maddy jic as it was my first time and it was delicious, lots of garlic which I adore. Also couldn’t help but try the coconut cream brûlée, unfortunately I couldn’t taste the coconut. The top wasn’t crunchy or crisp and wasn’t enough berry sauce on the side.
