This place is a little gem! The family running this lovely cafe are friendly and welcoming. The cafe was spotlessly clean. Situated across the road from Penola Catholic College, there’s plenty of parking. I had a cappuccino and the “Mom the meatballs” loaded sandwich, my daughter had an iced latte with vanilla on oat milk and “Brisket” loaded sandwich. Both sandwiches were made fresh to order and were exceptionally tasty! Great coffee too - they made a good choice of coffee bean. I couldn’t resist the carrot cake which looked delicious in the window, will be devouring that later - too full after the generous sized sandwiches.

found this place when surfing through cafes on google maps. had an amazing latte and iced mocha my partner grabbed the Parma roll loaded toasty and I got the Brisket loaded toasty. both were a generous portion with enough to take home and were absolutely delicious

We absolutely love this new halal cafe in Glenroy. Mel is so friendly and inviting, always welcoming my kids and I. The kids absolutely love coming and placing their own orders. The coffee is delicious and the hot jam donuts are just divine!

We went to Like Mother Like Son for burger and pasta night and everything was amazing. The food was so fresh, piping hot, and seriously delicious. The service was just as good everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The café itself is super cute and has such a nice, chill vibe. Super reasonably priced as well. I really enjoyed soaking up the sunshine while sipping my coffee at this place… easily the best latte I’ve had in a while! Bonus points for having my favorite BonSoy milk! Chill vibe, really nice staff and generous portion sizes (menu is awesome). Just the kind of spot you want to linger in....
