There is Greek and then there is Souv N' Brew. What an amazing place.
It's spotlessly clean inside this brand new casual restaurant cafe.
The service was fantastic, friendly and welcoming.
The food was some of the best I've had. Big call I know but its all made on site, the traditional way.
The spanokipita was home made and if I could buy this to take home I would.
Now I'm not a huge fan of sausages but the meat sausage that I tried was incredible. It was soo good, and you've gotta try one.
The dips were absolutely delicious, fresh and the pita bread was hot. Perfect.
The saganaki is always good but this one tasted hot n' buttery! The dolmades were yummy too.
The Greek beer was good and the Yiros plate with chicken and lamb, chips and salad was easily the best I've ever had! The meats were good quality, soft and they just melted in my mouth. The salad tasted like it was made to order.
My Greek coffee was strong, whoa haha. But I liked it.
And although I was soo full, there is always room for a small dessert haha. So I tried a Greek sweet which wasn't too sweet, and it made the perfect night that much better.
What an awesome night. This place is a must visit, and given the number of people visiting when I was there, it looks like the word is...
Read moreSouv ‘N’ Brew Bar was warm and welcoming on a cold almost wintery Williamstown night. A great little Greek eatery with all the classics for a sit down meal or pita wraps to grab and go. We sat in and ordered a couple of entrees and mains. Service was friendly and our meals came to us nice a quick.
For entree we tried the grilled halloumi with plenty of oregano and lemon juice (yum) and couldn’t say no to the home made spinach & ricotta spanakopita which was about as authentic as it gets.
We quite literally mixed up our mains tonight with a mixed Yiros Plate. Containing chicken and lamb meats straight off the grill along with chips, tzatziki and a fresh greek salad. This was a very satisfying dish and was a generous servie. For our other main (we shared both) we had the fried calamari which was ultra tender, lightly battered and went really well with a squeeze of lemon and tzatziki.
Our only regret was that we were so full from the rest of the meal we had no room left for the loukoumades Greek doughnuts which looked seriously good... next...
Read moreFor an amazing Souvalaki, right in the heart of Williamstown, with a wonderful view and beautiful staff, this is the place to stop.
I stopped in for a quick lunch and I’m glad I did. With the weather almost as beautiful as the staff, I ordered a mixed classic souva (that’s the one with chips inside it) and sat on the street.
The place is a street facing bar style cafe with rear garden seating, in shop and street seating. Clean and comfortable with a great atmosphere, friendly staff and a good menu of Greek cuisine it’s a nice place to get your fix of a tasty souva.
Apologies for the photo as I was hungry, took a couple of bites then remembered that I should really review this as I can’t keep all this goodness to myself!
The food is delicious, combined with the staff and view, located centrally and with fast service it’s the place to be...
