First visit satisfied - Approaching from the street, the footpath decorations and the outdoor seating evoked hot summer nights and transported me away from Ivanhoe. Inside, the shop decor and cleanliness feel like a franchise to come, rather than just a single business.

Staff were friendly, and my order was delivered sooner than forecast, even on a busy Saturday night.

I had a Milos burger and chips with feta and the taste satisfied. I only ordered a small chips, because I could see the serving size was large. The burger was filling and the flavours delicious, although I would have liked the chips to be crispier - but that's just my personal preference. I took the ample amount of feta off the chips at home, heated the chips in the air fryer and added the feta back - problem solved.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Now hear me out. Times have been tough with lockdowns etc. Being kind doesn't hurt one bit yet we go there at 8.40pm when the place closes at 9pm. I stick my head in and politely say are you still open and the guy very rudely says closed and then barges past me to start collecting the chairs.

Now I get I am going in late but if you are advertised to be open till 9 then that is when you should be open till.

The worst part is how I was spoken to by the guy working there. He could have said sorry we are closed or sorry we have nothing left. Instead he was so rude.

I really like the food at this place and so do my family but we will never go back!

Went there on the weekend and as we entered we didn't know if the young man standing at the front counter was a customer or staff. He just stood there looking at us as if he was lost. No welcome at all, we asked if there was a table available, he then spoke and showed us in. I ordered at the counter and offered the Ivanhoe Traders gift card to pay with. The young lady asked her boss about it and he rudely said "No, we don't take it and I told them I didn't want to be in it" He was so rude and angry, so we walked out and went to another restaurant that accepted us with a big smile and wonderful service.
