Special Pho Ngon — Restaurant in Melbourne

DONT SLEEP ON THIS RESTAURANT ‼️ Hands down our best pho soup place yet . It giving Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine vibes , we’ve travelled to Cabramatta , canley heights Sydney , Melbourne , Preston , Springvale nothing comes close to this place . We order combination seafood soup with extra beef and beef balls dammm this was the dish of the day . Kids got fried rice and crispy chicken ribs , rice and crispy chicken , deep fried salt pepper prawns , beef soup x2 , Broken Rice with Shredded Pork, Grilled Pork Fried Egg and Pork Loaf and combination pho soup . These were mouth watering meals and finger licking good . The meals came out fast and freshly made by the team and the waiter (mama) double checked our order on her notepad and was very patient as we are a picking eater and she noted everything down and nailed it . Waiter delivering our meal (daughter)on the table was also super polite and made sure we had all our condiments and meal correctly. But hands down s/o to the chef 👩‍🍳 the food was Ooooon . We will diffntly be back here...

COCKROACH! I've been to this place a few times, and could never understand why its always so empty... Yesterday I found out exactly why... Ordered a large sliced beef, a quarter of the way done I decided to grab a spoon for the broth, as I looked over to the utensil holder, I was horrified and disgusted by the sight of a cockroach peeking out of it... I told my friend and we stopped eating immediately, we confirmed that there was a roach inside using the flash light on my phone, and we decided to leave. The true horror was that the lady at the counter (owner's wife by my understanding) insisted that we still pay for the food after hearing that a cockroach calls her utensil holder home, she blamed the next door shop...

genuinely had a memorable dinner with one of my closest friends. for some reason we always have meaningful conversations over good pho. we had delicious food and drinks, and auntie really boosted our mood after a long day. highly recommend this place as this is now my favourite place to enjoy pho. thank you auntie and family for sharing your culture and making us happy. make sure to remember our faces as we will most likely come back!
