Subway — Restaurant in Melbourne

Being a past employee of a different store; Usually I walk past this store without a second glance as it’s always filthy. Today all I could smell when I walked into arena was Italian herbs and cheese so I chose the risk and walked into a very quiet store, not welcomed, not even a smile. Asked the young man for a footlong Italian herbs and cheese pizza sub, just asking if half could have only regular salami (so I can share with my toddler) he misunderstood and put 3 hot salami on one side, and 3 regular on the other. (There should be 10-12 per footlong mind you so half the amount I’m paying for) and when I tried to mention that it was quite right and it should be 6 of each i was met with attitude, so I told him not to worry about it and left as I wasn’t trying to pick a fight with a 15 year old. If I could give zero stars I would! Went in lastnight, as we were walking in the door one of the staff nearly bowled us over trying to get out the door. She left behind a young girl eho didn't know barely any English, and who was so new. She was a sweet girl, I felt so sorry for her. She had no clue what to do, we needed 4 subs and she was going to serve them to us with cold meat, when my husband said they normally heat the Teriyaki chicken she seemed surprised. We ended up telling her not to worry about it and walked out to get food elsewhere. New staff need training, new staff shouldn't be left alone as a bunch of people are entering the store and the lady who stormed through us, needs some manners! Never had a bad experience here until today Tall kid served my partner, the two other employees had masks on, he did not, fine i didn't say anything Both my partner and I watched as he made the wrap, Reaching over the girl trying to make a sub ahead of him, not once but four times, including fumbling for a sauce bottle (ended up not being the aoli asked for) only to throw in back into place half reaching over her again Piling all the ingredients on the wrap and when it came time to warp it, squashed it together to form what amounted to a poorly held together bowl rather then the traditional wrap that is normal to any wrap i've seen made

I feel sorry for the people he has to work with and imagine a ready-made excuse if someone were to ask him to wear a mask while preparing food

Again, nothing but good service from this place...
