The Kindest Staff and Freshest Food - My Grandparents favourite

I wanted to leave a glowing review for the team at the Chirnside Park Subway, who have been an absolute lifesaver for me and my children. My grandparents live nearby, and we often order them lunch from this Subway. The experience here is always so positive that I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

Ordering for others, especially older family members who have specific tastes, can sometimes be tricky, but the staff here make it an absolute breeze. They are incredibly patient and understanding. Whether I'm on the phone to my Nan double-checking if she wants pickles this time, or asking for just a tiny bit of sauce, they never rush me.

Today I accidentally ordered a chicken schnitzel which was the wrong item and they helped me correct it easily. Their kindness and helpful attitude make a chore a genuinely pleasant task.

Most importantly, I can always trust the quality. The food is consistently fresh. The salad ingredients are always crisp and vibrant, and the bread is lovely and soft, which is perfect for my grandparents. They always comment on how tasty and fresh their lunch is, and it feels good knowing I'm getting them a wholesome, delicious meal.

Becoming increasingly dissatisfied with this particular store, portion sizes are getting smaller and smaller despite prices going up. Have made multiple comments regarding the lack of toppings, cheeses and even sauces and salt and pepper. Have compared against other stores and have commented to staff multiple times, seems the owner of this particular establishment pushes their staff to minimise portion sizes as they see fit. It’s greedy and unfair to the consumer. For the cost of the food here, the least they could do is provide reasonable portion sizes like vast majority of their other stores. Recommend commenting on your portion sizes to make the change within this store, or getting your subway fix somewhere the portion is equal...

Large store, plenty of seating! Kind of a pain that it's so far out of the way of the shopping centre though, as unlikely to leave and go all the way over to the cinema area to eat. Worth the trip though! There's one guy who works here who takes the term "sandwich artist" to a whole new level. No good if you're in a rush but worth the wait if you want the most perfectly made, evely-distributed fillings in a sandwich you've ever had!
