During my recent trip to Melbourne, I had the pleasure of stopping by a Subway at the airport, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences I've had at the chain. The employees were exceptionally kind and welcoming, which set a positive tone right from the start. What really stood out to me was how generously they filled my sandwich to the brim, ensuring that I got my money's worth and more. The quality of service was remarkable, especially considering how busy the airport was that day. Despite the large number of people bustling around, the staff managed to keep things moving swiftly, without sacrificing the quality of their work. It's not uncommon for service in high-traffic areas like airports to be a bit rushed or impersonal, but that was not the case here. The team seemed genuinely attentive and dedicated to providing a great customer experience. What was even more surprising was the price. I expected to pay a premium at the airport, but this Subway was actually cheaper than other locations I've visited in Melbourne. The combination of excellent service, generous portions, and a reasonable price made this visit memorable. In a busy airport environment, where everything can often feel a bit chaotic, it was refreshing to encounter such efficiency and friendliness. This experience has definitely raised the bar for what I expect from a quick-service restaurant, especially in a location as hectic...
Read moreOrdered 2 falafel footlooooooongs I was going to eat at a Subway after a while, I told to toast it please, but I don't know she might not toasted it properly. Then I told second girl to cut them in half because they switched. Third girl took the packing duty. And they cut one of it. Second one they forgot. Now first issue, they didn't toast falafels properly, they were cold from inside. When I walk back, one of their senior staff arrived, 1 by 1 each of staff member checked the falafels, and said these are still warm. I told them that I have tried already. But that senior staff lady thought I want refund and she started saying I won't refund for it. I told them please make a new one. She refused because I ate 1/4 of footlooooog. Then I don't know what comes to her mind she toased properly another falafels and put them in the other half of footlooooong. I haven't seen any other Subway yet who don't toast/warm up the falafels first separately. My request to Subway please tell your staff to do any patties or falafels warm atleast. Or if staff is unsure please ask staff to make it as a rule that they should ask the customer to warm it up or not. But still i said to toast it. So we don't start blaming each other. I don't wanna go to this Subway again in my life. Thanks and hope you read it...
Read moreFriday 31st OCT at roughly 10:03pm both my colleague and i experienced the worst customer service to date. We both work at the airport and were getting food on our break. We approached smiling and asked what’s good. The worker i think her name is Noura? Noora? Not sure something like that was THE WORST worker we’ve ever Encountered. We ordered two 6 inch’s. she had a horrible attitude on her. huffing and puffing whilst making our sandwich. We asked for one to have tuna and fresh. She proceeded to put the subway in the toaster? She purposely did this. Moving on when she gets to the sauces she literally does one small squeeze (even though extra sauce was asked for because workers here are always stingy) she then goes half way into closing it JUST TO WALK AWAY AND GOES STRAIGHT TO THE BACK??? We work here at the airport. We don’t ever ever treat anyone that disrespectfully. I request the management of this shop to go back through the cameras and witness this them selves. It was seriously disgusting behaviour especially from such a grown young adult. So shocking. We had to ask the other girl to finish the sandwich. Seriously that’s terrible and she should be held accountable for...
