I was going to order a parma then, so the reviews about the parma were dry, etc. Hence, we ordered Margherita pizza and a chicken burger. I was starving, but still, I didn’t find it that impressive. The pizza tasted like a frozen pizza that you just microwaved, and the chicken burger was a bit dry and chewy. The worst was absolutely the lady who was working, she didn’t wanna be there, didn’t even bother to clean the table, our table was all sticky, although we requested wiping it, she was spending time to chit chat with her colleagues for a while. I don’t think she’s suitable for the hospitality industry.

Ok.. so if you call yourself an “AFL” bar, one would assume that if you start watching a game you don’t close the doors on the customers at half time !(approx 9pm) sure you might do that if your a normal pub but NOT if your an AFL BAR…… give yourselves another name for the love of God. Or at least rename your self to “Almost AFL Kitchen & Bar” or “HALF AFL BAR… sort of” you get the point of and of course your food prices are out of control. Give you two stars cause at least I watched HALF a game

$24.50 for a cheese burger, you'd expect it to be at least half decent. The beef patty was so dry it was hard to swallow, if a burger had been frozen for 100years I'd imagine this is what it would taste like. The fries were decent, but then again who can't fry up some frozen fries on a set timer. The fried fish were also very dry, either the food standards here are appalling or the cooks here obviously don't care enough. I'd recommend the neighbouring venues for better food at a better price.

Just landed and was looking for a quick bite to eat. Saw a good $8 coffee and toastie deal. When I ordered the waiter got our order wrong charging us for two coffees and one toastie, coming to 12.50. I confirmed with him that that was for two orders. He said yes. As suspected he messed up the order. At this stage it was not a big deal whatsoever. He asked the barista/manager if she could help with the mistake and she responded with “well she’s just going to have to wait”. Again not an issue at this point. I then waited 10 minutes for her to finish what she was doing with out acknowledging that I was there. Once she was done she doesn’t apologise for the mistake and then rudely ask what did I want to order when I was explaining to her that you guys messed up the order and I wanted to pay the difference of the mistake. She then kept repeating what I wanted to order disregarding my situation. At this point she said I had to pay for the full price of my order. Long story long. Horrible service. Rude...

Absolutely furious. We visited on Saturday before going on our flight. Food and service was all fine. We then ordered a baby chino for our toddler, it was brought to our table and we gave it to our 2 year old. He took 1 sip and screamed, the milk was scolding hot!! He was in so much pain. I told a staff member and her response was “I didn’t make it”.. and that was it. Our toddler then had visible burn marks on his chin, neck and tongue. He was complaining of having a sore tongue for the entire next day.

To the owners: please teach your staff that a baby chino is made with cold or slightly warm milk.. Any trained barista knows this. This could have been much worse, you should consider yourselves lucky that I didn’t take it further. We should have checked the temp first, but never ever do baristas make baby chinos with hot milk. So I trusted that your staff were trained.

Please train them better. This...

This place certainly has airport prices, but at least it is worth it!

I've tried their Avo-smash, which may be an item you may not expect much from. But this was one of the best I had, if not the best; and I've tried this in quite a number of places.

As soon as it was delivered, the nice and inviting smell of the olive oil already got me interested. Once I dug in, the fresh mint leaves left a refreshing taste. When I squeezed a bit of lemon that came on the side, it gave it enough zest without being too sour. The egg I added to it also worked just fine.

All in all, just a pleasant surprise in an airport restaurant that made my travelling more enjoyable.

Next time I have time at this airport for breakfast, I...
