I know how bad airport food can be in just about any corner of the world… however I wasn’t quite prepared for this level of culinary disaster.

I happened to have the great misfortune of ordering the Thor lamb kebab. Every facet of this meal was bad. From the cold soggy bread wrapping it up to dried out meat inside. It was a deeply concerning insight into how low the fast food industry can go.

This place showed some promise as I approached it. Thick skewers of lamb were slowly being charred over an open fire and the smell was quite alluring in the way only barbequed meat can be. Unfortunately the meat I got served was dried out and woody in texture. Whilst this might seem like the absolute low point of the meal, it was nothing compared to the sludge like salad that was also inside. There was literally not one redeeming feature to this meal.

Service was poor, standoffish and very unprofessional.

I ordered a chicken kebab and asked for chips also, staff member didn’t seem to understand what I was ordering, so I asked again, can I have chips also. I was told that the chips would come with my kebab. Offered cash to pay, no, we can’t do cash. Another lady staff member was able to give me change, so that worked out. I checked again, to make sure they understood my order, told yes. Order showed up, no chips. I was told I didn’t pay for chips. I guess there is a problem with communication. Also , your website shows a kebab with the chips. Please try to make things a bit clearer for your customers. The kebab was very tasty at...

Ordered a lamb kebab (charged at an extra $3 compared to other protein) at around 8pm the other night. Was informed 10mins later that they were out of lamb (this also happened to 2 other patrons). They gave us a choice of a refund or to have extra chicken. I was tired and hungry so I opted for the extra chicken. The flavour of the salad and sauces were decent, however the amount of chicken was barely fitting for a normal portion, let alone the offer of "extra" chicken.

Was not worth a total $19 plus eftpos surcharge. Would not recommend coming here in the later hours, or just take the refund if...
