I am not usually one to go out of my way to leave a negative review but felt like I had this time. I have had the same girl serve me the last two times and she would have to be the rudest person I have ever been served by. I gave her the benefit of the doubt the first time, maybe she was having a bad day. But today, she was just as rude. 'WHAT YOU WANT?' aggressively and just plain rude, slapping the bread on the chopping board, no respect for anything or anyone. When asking me 'is there anything else you want?' when ringing up the till, I had to hold myself back from saying maybe an attitude adjustment. The male server was just as rude to the customers he was serving. The young girl in between them seemed uncomfortable around them, and rightly so as she seemed kind and like she actually wanted to be there. The vegetables looked gross, especially the pineapple which you have to pay extra for, and no pride was shown. Bread is either burnt or stale, and cookies are overcooked. I'm pretty certain if a mystery shopper came in, they would have failed miserably. Please teach your team how to offer at least a minimum basic standard of customer service, or you'll end up having no customers, especially looking at the reviews from others. Read moreI recently visited the Subway and had one of my rare bad experiences. The food was up to the below the Subway standard. However, what stood out, unfortunately, was the atmosphere behind the counter.
During my visit, I couldn't help but notice the manager's behavior towards the young staff. It was disheartening to see them being spoken to in a harsh and condescending manner. The young workers seemed stressed and demoralized, which not only affected their mood but also the overall vibe of the place. It felt uncomfortable and awkward, and it's hard to enjoy a meal when you witness such treatment.
Subway is known for its welcoming and friendly service, and it was disappointing to see the team environment falling short of those expectations. I hope the management can address this issue, as a supportive and respectful workplace benefits both employees and customers alike. Read moreService at this particular store was abysmal, the worst I’ve had over the years. I spent over 15 min waiting to be served while two employees looked to be playing and giggling on the ground behind the counter, service had only picked up when another employee clocked In for his 2pm shift and started serving, 3 more customers came in AFTER myself, and leaving with their food beforehand. All food containers were empty and employees had to repeatedly go to the cool room for fresh stuff, 4 times during the making of my sub. There was an estimate of 4 workers on shift so I was amazed at how poorly organised they all were. Also the air vent above the food and registers doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in over a month, caked in dust with a cobweb hanging down at least half a metre.
